The food was pertty good and the portions were nice size. The service could have been better, she stayed gone so long we would forget what we wanted.

Very layed-back coffee and burrito shop. Coffee and food are excellent. They have a variety of burrito-style offerings for breakfast and lunch with custom toppings.
This is a must stop everytime I go to Savannah.
Note: they are closed on Monday.

We stopped in for dinner while in Savannah and had a very good experience. The people were friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The establishment was clean with plenty of seats available. Java Burrito not only features good Mexican-style bowls, burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. they also have great coffee. Following our dinner I got a latte to go and it was hot, smooth, and delicious. My only minor complaint is that the unsweetened tea did not taste as fresh as it should. But having said that, I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it as a great place to eat while in the area.

Came to this place with high hopes — the interior is super cute. The joint coffee shop seemed to have fair pricing for their drink sizes, but the burrito shop didn’t match that at all. The prices were basically the same as Chipotle, but the portions were maybe half. I asked for extra rice and literally got like a third of a spoonful. My partner asked for extra beans and got about five extra beans. We almost had to ask for extra everything because they were really skimpy with portions.

For reference, I got a veggie bowl, he got a quesadilla with braised pork, and we got chips with guac and queso — and it came out to $40. I normally don’t even get chips, queso, or guac, but after seeing the portions I figured we’d still be hungry. Even then, at Chipotle I’d pay around $34 not getting chips with queso and guac, and still have leftovers.

The food itself was okay, but the serving sizes were just upsetting for the price. Definitely sticking with Chipotle for burritos going forward.

We tried the burrito side of this establishment. Great food and especially great if you want to start supporting locally owned businesses. Food portions were perfect for the price. Great for a lunch date or a meal later in the day.

It was fine for a copy cat Chipotle. I got the burrito bowl which is usually what I get from Chipotle. Overall everything tasted high quality, but I'll porbabaly stick with Chipotle

This was our first experience with Java Burrito and we were so disappointed. We ordered and paid for two meals but only received one meal. In addition to receiving only one meal, the one meal we DID receive (burrito bowl) was severely lacking. The vast majority of the bowl was white rice. There were 4 small pieces of grilled chicken, a sparse sprinkling of black beans, zero of the sour cream that was ordered, and none of the guacamole (extra cost) or lettuce that was ordered. We will not be return customers and we don’t recommend Java Burrito. Thankfully, Uber Eats has given us a partial refund on behalf of Java Burrito.

Today an employee named Taylor gave me the best bowl I’ve had here and I’ve been going for years!! I ordered a milkshake too, and yet again, it was spectacular and had the perfect texture! Employees like Taylor keep me coming!

So I ordered Postmates and my bowl was meant to have guacamole and they decided to not add it and not tell me why ordered it today at 3:30 pm really sad because I love their food! But this is the second time they’ve gotten my order wrong. Just order in person

This place is Chipotle in a silk robe, a burrito joint cosplaying as chic. Yes, the interior is gorgeous: warm lights, polished stone, artisanal everything. But the food? Tepid, timid, and tragically small.

It’s a burrito stripped of soul, dressed in design, and charged at double the price. A pig in lipstick or perhaps, a burrito in cashmere.

One star for the lighting, one for the nerve.
