Midtown Deli & Bagel Shop

My mother and I had heard great things about Midtown Deli & Bagel Shop from a friend. We tried to visit once before but arrived too close to closing time and the door was locked. This weekend we had a chance to try it and the sandwiches we ordered were GREAT!! I had turkey and bacon on an everything bagel and mom had The Broadway. The sandwiches were worth the trip and we would definitely go there again. Side note if you use the ladies room - one door / two toilets. It catches you off guard. :)

We didn't like the taste of the food. We are from Maryland. We like this atmosphere and typically this type of food. I hate to say it, but we were really disappointed. I got the Godfather. I couldn't even finish half of it, as I didn't like it. My wife got a Reuben. She asked that they put on provolone - she is allergic to Swiss. They forgot, but we didn't complain- they were serving other customers... Mistakes happen. She took a Benadryl - lol. Anyway we're were told the bagels are legit by a friend and that's how we heard of them. Unfortunately, we didn't even get a bagel. Lol - oh well. There were many customers though, so maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Try it, if you want!

We get our bagels here, which are good, but I’m not able to leave work for lunch early enough before they close evidently. They supposedly close at 2 but are always closed before that when I get there? Other reviews have discussed this, too. Really disappointing because I drive across town ☹️

Great little deli with almost New York bagels. The tuna melt is very tasty. The sides are also good and the pickles! Love that they support local artists by displaying/selling their work.

Was in the area with a friend and checked this place out for breakfast. I got a bagel to eat and a sandwich to take home. Service was great, and everything I ordered was yum. Friend is from New York and she attested to the authenticity of the bagels. Can't wait to go back and try out their other cream cheeses ?
