Excellent selections and quality food, served in the most gracious and friendly manner possible ... great beer and wine for those interested otherwise the iced tea and soft drinks are great ... has been our favorite oriental restaurant for years and is highly recommended ... enjoy!

Excellent food and excellent service. Some of the best Chinese food we've had lately. We had chicken, noodles & vegetables, wonton soup and gyoza. All were delicious! The soup had an amazing broth and the won tons were fresh and tasty. The gyoza were some of the best I've ever had. Delicious sauce with them too. A huge portion of the entree. Also great. The cook/waiter was excellent. He kept filling our drinks and checked on us several times. We were also served a salad. At first I thought, "meh". But then I mixed the plain lettuce with the dressing. The salad was also excellent. The dressing was perfect for the snappy lettuce. Light and refreshing. Definitely recommend.

If you can make it past the gruff exterior, you can find balance in this truely hidden gem. Nestled near wormsloe this asian fusion restraunt is the closest to authentic chinese/japanese food ive had west of the atlantic ocean. Highly encourage anyone seeking authenticity to give it a try.

Tempura roll was nasty. The male owner was extremely rude. Didn't wear gloves when scooping out wasabi or ginger. Was not gonna take any chances. Just through it away. Never coming back here again!

I moved to Sandfly in December and I've been trying out the food places around here....finally decided to try this place. This will be my last time. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and the Deep Fried Roll.The Teriyaki Chicken.......dry...very very dry. Barely any sauce. The rice was ok...however I asked if I could get shrimp friend rice and I was told they only had fried rice and steamed rice. Never been to an asian restaurant before that didn't serve shrimp fried rice. The veggies - they didn't look like they were giving me an invitation to eat them so I politely decided to not bother them.The Deep Fried Roll was somewhat better...but very little flavor and wasn't worth giving the review a second star.

Here is my problem I roll into a place, order and then check the Yelp review. Wrong order idiot. 1st clue a sole person sitting it the place in a back corner during prime dining hours. 2nd clue the place needs a serious deep clean. Not that I haven't got great meals from dirty $&@!?holes before but that is more the exception. 3rd clue is the menu is sticky and has price updates on white-out. Anyway too late I've ordered my food is cooking. I grab and go. Chicken breast drizzled with sauce good, veggies also good. Soup was served in a soda cup so that's different. Overall not what I expected from a restaurant with fusion in its name. I don't see a reason to return but won't say this was my last time. Just nothing that popped

I've gotten take out several times from this restaurant but was unaware of the health score violations. Their Crab Rangoon is really good but I probably won't be going back unless the health score violations issue gets resolved.
