We were craving some ice cream and heard nice things about this place. As I tried to open the door with the “Open” sign on, a young man stepped up to the door from the inside, looked me deep in my eyes and smiled while he turned the lock and turned the sign to “Closed”. I looked at my watch and it was 2-3mins before closing time. Will take my gelato business elsewhere.

An employee let us know that all the ice cream is name brand (various) product. Yes, the same stuff you can buy in a grocery store.Staff was friendly, place was clean enough, and ice cream on a hot day is still ice cream. Enjoy!

Not ADA compliant. Come to Leopold's for delicious local flavors including ice creams based on 1919 recipes

Loved their selection of ice cream. I got the 3 scoops of ice cream in a cup with Pistachio, Superman, and Banana Pudding. All were absolutely delicious. I will be back again to try out the other flavors.

These bathrooms are for customers only, so my sister and I bought drinks and were going to get ice-cream as well. While she ordered drinks, I used the restroom, but when she tried the owner stopped her because she had her service dog with her. She tried to explain the ADA laws regarding service dogs to the owner and how service dogs are allowed anywhere the public is allowed. He told her that her service dog is only allowed in the restaurant and not in the bathrooms and denied her access. This establishment is NOT ADA COMPLIENT! We ended up not getting ice-cream and regretting our decision to bring them our business.

To all my service dog friends who visit Savannah, DO NOT GO HERE! The restrooms are for customers only, so my family got drinks. My sister entered the restrooms with no issues, however when I tried to use the restrooms with my service dog, Sebastian, the owner told me that he is not allowed. I tried explaining that he is not just a dog, but is a cardiac alert dog and that he has to be with me. To which he raised his voice and told me that SebastIan is not allowed and to have someone hold him outside the bathroom for me. After this, I repeated that my service dog is cardiac alert and a medical necessity and under ADA law he is allowed to go to the restroom with me and that the law only covers the restaurant, not the restrooms. At this point, his voice was raised and he would not even let me finish a sentence, so I left and went to find a restroom elsewhere. NOT ADA COMPLIANT!

I would give them less than a one star if I could, the ice cream is overrated, more ice than cream. Call it a snowcone place at this point. The real issue was how these people treat disabled people, if you have a task trained, medical alert, service dog. Or if you are disabled in general. Don’t bother going. The little small man who calls himself the owner is one big POS!
