Sandfly has the best barbecue. We come to Savannah often and our go to place for barbecue is Sandfly. We had more family members at a recent visit and they were instant fans. Thank you Sandfly!

The food was outstanding! I picked up a pork sandwich and a rack of ribs to go. The meat fell off the bones and very much enjoyed their barbecue sauce. It was worth the side trip on the way to Tybee Island. Enjoying those ribs!

Great food, great atmosphere. Make sure you go early if you want something popular like brisket because it does tend to sell out later in the day. The mac n cheese is 10/10. Even the burgers are great if you're not in the mood for BBQ. Highly recommend.

Ignore the haters this is the real deal. I've been eating at sandfly for 5 years. Sandfly made me feel like I was right at home with outstanding pulled pork and sides. The pork was meaty, not overly flakey, and was flavorfull without being overly smoky or seasoned. I had cut fries, mac & cheese and potato salad and all were delicious. Portions were generous, and I took half home to eat later. Beyond that, loved the service and atmosphere, with old retro signs, beadboard walls and country colors. Clearly a lot of love has been put into Sandfly, and they just won another loyal customer.

It is everything you want from a no nonsense barbecue spot. Excellent brisket, excellent pulled pork, and some of the best smoked chicken I’ve had. Decent collards, great potato salad, excellent mac and cheese. The Brunswick stew is to die for.
We were greeted promptly by Anna Lauren (apology if the name isn't spelled correctly), a very charming young lady who was most kind in providing recommendations as this was our first time dining here. What a pleasure, and what outstanding barbeque that puts what we have in south Florida to shame. Anytime I am back in Savannah, it will be my pleasure to return to this restaurant and enjoy her recommendations once again. Great job to everyone.

The food was amazing! I’d like to highlight the pork ribs and sausage. I really enjoyed all the sides. The collards, potato salad, beans and coleslaw were all fantastic. The potato salad was like deviled eggs and potato’s combined. Very unique for me and delicious. The collards were savory and slightly spicy with some acid. Perfect in my opinion. Definitely worth the visit! We got the combo platter.

I absolutely the best brisket I have had in a very long time. I can’t say enough good things about the brisket. It was moist and juicy and was seasoned perfectly. I had the slash brisket and quarter chicken dark meat along with collard greens and green beans. My wife had the half chicken with mac & cheese and baked beans. The chicken was amazing as were our side dishes. If we lived in Savannah, this would be our definite go to barbecue place
Parking: It’s in a shopping center so the parking is a little tight.

A bit of a hole-in-the-wall but doesn’t matter when the brisket is that good. We also got green beans made with pork and texas toast. BBQ sauces are also good, especially the mustard! Not too pricey for what you get. Check it out.
