The Sentient Bean Reviews
The burrito was good and decently priced. Would have liked to be more full. Very nice coffee shop feel in a good location.
I’ve been here multiple times, and it’s become one of my favorite breakfast spots. The breakfast burritos are always delicious, and the vegan version is my personal favorite. I usually stop by in the mornings, and the food has been consistently fresh and satisfying every visit. I still need to make it in during lunch because that menu looks just as good. Looking forward to trying more of it soon!
The beans are sentient and can be a bit chatty. Whatever you do, avoid asking about how sentient beans sell other sentient beans. They don’t find it funny and will give you odd looks.
Beans are great to talk with otherwise, food amazing, and good stop to help prepare you for a small local adventure. Take the time to stock up, rest and get ready to dodge any gnomes or goblins.

The Sentient Bean offers a great Americano made with Easygoing Espresso Blend beans and delicious peach cobbler. The vegetarian and vegan options are amazing, using fresh, local, and ethically sourced ingredients. The atmosphere is laid back with an artsy vibe and friendly, kind staff, creating a community feel where customers often run into someone they know. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. Many enjoy the vegan super bowl and peach iced tea. The Orange Dream Cake is a must-try, light and fluffy with a tasty orange zest flavor. Located conveniently at the south end of Forsyth Park, the restaurant features clearly marked vegan items on the menu and in the bakery case. Although it gets busy, lines move quickly, making it a popular spot for casual dining and a proper hot vegan breakfast or brunch. The vegan breakfast burrito and vegan breakfast tacos are hearty and healthy, and the baked goods, including vegan biscuits and gravy and strawberry chocolate vegan pancakes, are flavorful. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, often considered the best in the city. The shop's environmental focus adds to its appeal, making it a highly recommended place for vegetarians and vegans. The staff is known for being understanding and accommodating, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
