Stay away. The food did not look appetizing. There was a couple of buckets to collect dripping water from the AC. The floor was warped. Had a stumble on the way out. Sat down for about 2 minutes to decide where we would go to eat. Left quickly and went to Texas Road House.

It was a big rave from my brother and his wife. Where? I had the turkey wings, rice collar greens, yams and corn bread with sweet tea. I enjoyed the yams, corn bread and the sweet tea The serving staff was reslly polite and friendly. Everyone taste is different.

I ordered 2 meals ribs and baked chicken with Mac n cheese cabbage, rice and collards everything was delicious even at clothes also ordered sweet tea and it was the best. been a long time since I had food this good thank you we appreciated the great meal!

I ordered oxtails, greens, cabbage, and yams. They were all watery, vinegary, and lacking in seasoning 🤮 The chef/manager had no interest in making things right. While eating I saw 3 GERMAN ROACHES 🪳The place smells of mold/mildew. I see there is structural damage on the ceiling and side of building. Not sure how they’re open. My meal with no drinks was $30.

Im not sure if there are 2 different restaurants. The one I visited on July 19, 2026 was absolutely AWFUL. There’s no way people consistently give this place more than 2 stars. I’m not one to review low, however, this time it was a must. I heard so many wonderful things about this restaurant and I was very disappointed

New locations needs a little work but the food is outstanding. The service is stellar. The fried chicken was fresh, juicy, and crispy. The Mac and Cheese is fluffy and held together with the right ratio of cheese and noodle. The sweet potatoes melt in your mouth - coupled with sweetness and a hint of smokieness. Get it to go and eat it in the parking lot.

This establishment was able to accommodate a party of 25. We were served from a buffet style setting. We were very pleased with the meal, location and service. If you want traditional type southern meal... Then this is your place.
I have never been so disappointed. The green bean tasted like they came right out the can with no seasoning. The ribs were very tough the greens were cold and lacked seasoning as well. The lemonade was good though.

This is the original location. It was good. They need to work on the new location. New location didn’t have the full menu and the porkchops was insanely inedible. They were like a bark, hard, sharp and extremely dry. Sides were very good though. Original location was VERY good. Chicken was seasoned very well, sides was good too, yams could use more sugar, but that’s a personal preference. Overall, very good. I’d visit THAT location again, not that new one.
