This place was FANTASTIC! The main guy helping us/running it was so tentative and walked us through everything. Made us feel right at home! The bartender, Sam, was a ball of sunshine, too! The cranberry ginger ale was delicious! Both employees were so personable and made my first time here a total delight. 10/10 will come back again!!

Loved this place. First time visiting we were greeted with a friendly brewer and delicious beer. We will definitely be coming here on the regular. These people know what the are doing when it comes to beer!

Amazing place! A must visit if in the area, seasonal brews that don't make it everywhere, great people, a good time!

First time at Southbound Brewing Co. I had a ‘year-round’ lager and hazy IPA, and both were great for their style. The place was surprisingly dead for a Friday night, but I still thoroughly enjoyed myself. Jeremy, the bartender, is awesome and definitely fun to chat with while visiting; dude has been around a while at Southbound and knows his stuff about Savannah. The mojo of the place is great as well with a water station not too far from the bathroom. Warning: you may enter through the axe throwing side like I did but they’ll gladly point you to the door for the brewery. You can also bring your beer over while doing axe throwing as they rent the space from Southbound Brewing. Quality spot that is definitely worth a visit.

We bought a Groupon for two flights and two looses for two people. Sat down at the bar (they weren’t busy) and I showed the bartender lady the Groupon. She said rudely, “We don’t have koozies.” Not, “I apologize, but we’re out of koozies” or what have you. We didn’t really care about them, so fine. We pick the flights (mostly IPAs, lager). Yuck—only one IPA was good. My daughter liked the lager. Ok fine—we’re ready to cash out (bartender had not redeemed the Groupon on my phone) and no one was around. Everyone was in the neighboring axe throwing place because it was so hot in the brewery. When my daughter asks to check out, the same rude bartender said, “what do you have to cash out?” Umm-ok, so I brought up the Groupon on the app. Bartender slides to “redeemed” and says (again quite rudely), “there, you’re good.”

I can get past the no koozies, the only one preferred IPA, the super hot brewery, but the consistently rude bartender girl—nope. Maybe she a having a bad first hour of being open (because that’s when we were there), but not sure why it was me problem. Service is everything. Will never return there and I will avoid their beers in restaurants when visiting the area, which I do often since I have family there.

Love this dog-friendly brewery. Great place to relax and have a few beers. The beer is amazing. My fav is the Hop’lin IPA. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. They often host events here too. So it’s a real community gem.

Southbound Brewing is a small spot that packs a punch. The sour beer is outstanding this winter. Staff behind the bar are sweet and attentive.

What could have been a total 5 star experience was more like a 3. I think that place is wonderful. I decided to take my gf who lives out of state and enjoys local beer to this location last night. She was amazed as soon as she walked in. HOWEVER, the bartender kinda sucked. Idk if it was because we came in at 9:30 and her shift was almost over but it was really bland. For a place that we have never been to she expected us to know how it works. She didn’t give us any type of engagement. Idk if it’s because we didn’t look like her type of folks she prefer to serve or what - but I Guess we expected more interaction.OTHER THAN THAT- the beer is awesome. The flight for two is awesome. And blade and bull is right next door so that was awesome. I guess we expected the same service we typically get from brewers— and that was not it. —but again we may not have been the bartenders “type” of people. We will try again , in the daytime, with hopefully another crew on shift. I’d still 100% recommend going . The beer is awesome.

A local brewery with a laid back vibe and well executed, creative beers on tap. There's a nice outdoor area for chilling with friends and a pint.
