My mom and I stopped here to grab some beer to take home to Ohio. We've been excited to try it out and got there right when it opened. The girl working the bar was incredibly rude and seemed more than annoyed by our being there. She completely ignored us but dotted on the larger party next to us (who got there and sat down after us). On top of the service being awful, the beer was watery and lacked the quality I was expecting from the snobbish behavior of the girl behind the bar. Don't waste your money and consider another local brewery to spend your money on and time at.

Torn about this place as the beer is fairly good- just over the bridge from Plant Riverside district you'll find Southbound nestled into a warehouse I had the Scattered Sun which was decent Belgian style witbier - tasted a bit like a vitamin tablet Thoroughly enjoyed the Islandia sour & it will be my go to in the future The service could've been better & that was the big reason for the 3/5...

My friend and I stopped here twice - arriving at and departing from Savannah. Our server, Marissa, was absolutely delightful - she actually recognized us at our second visit. We didn’t eat much and didn’t try the beer. But the chicken quesadillas and Bloody Marys were excellent. All we ordered before our departure flight was Bloody Marys , and Marissa must have sensed we needed a bit of food - so she brought us a plate of waffle fries - on the house! This is a great place to kill a little time before or after your flight.

Will is top notch. Throwing axes was amazing, but having a great bartender with killer music tastes also makes it better.

The craziest thing just happened. Went to Southbound for a beer before heading to dinner. Not my first time. About 5 folks at the bar plus the intoxicated bar tender. I think the 5 people were his peeps coz there was lots of free beer flowing. My partner and I sat down at the bar to decide what to get. No acknowledgement from the bartender but thinking he just missed us? Yeah I know only 5 people.... 5 minutes became 15 of being obviously ignored. To the point of him walking our way and turning his back. Not sure if he had a LGBTQ issue or what but sadly won't be going back. Very surprising from such an open city.

We had a great afternoon experience at Southbound Brewery. Following a downtown Savannah meeting, we chose to stop at Southbound for a beer flight tasting, and ended up with an impromptu tour and explanation of the brewing process. A marvelous afternoon experience!First, this is an active production brewery. That means it's a producer of high in-demand labels with familiar flavors, but it's also a brew lab! There are small scale experiments going on as brewers, as taste inventors, conduct their trials in test batches. Here on a slow hot afternoon, we received an extra when the bartender Andy took us into taste trials of some test batches.Food offerings are slight, so come prepared. But your eyes, mind and taste buds will depart far richer for your visit. Cost? 4 or 5 beers tastings of selections are $12-20 each.Groupon often has tasting specials so be sure to check this out!!!

The beer here might have been the best I savannah!! The bartender Will was amazing with us both with our time & the time he took to take care of the other patrons even those that were underage with their parents. He was a flat out rockstar but even before he started working the staff & beer were A+

Great restaurant to wait in if your flight is delayed.Extremely quick service and food was cooked really well.Limited menu (vegetarians can eat fries) but overall exceeded expectations.

No menu when asked. Then Bartender rambled off a couple of things to order with her back toward us. This is not the way to run a business ?

A good brewery establishment is good if they have good beer but what makes it great is the people that work and serve there. When I was warmly welcomed by the beer man this evening, I knew this was going to be a fabulous time. Friendly, funny, maybe even a discount on my beer, I spent a few hours here sitting at the bar because there aren't any tables inside with power. My rockstar was Will. Working by himself, this guy was all hustle, all smiles and all friendly service. The live music started up and I stayed for some. Good tunes but too loud for my old ears. After my beers, a bunch of wifi and some fun people watching, I was on my way. Thanks for the fun time, Will. You're awesome![Review 19722 overall - 615 in Georgia - 694 of 2023.]

Easy to find, not very crowded with outside and inside seating. There's cornhole and if you planned ahead you can go next door for axe throwing. Bathrooms are clean and the beer is good.
