There were hotdogs in my food? I guess when it said bacon, sausage, & chorizo... I didn't think it's be chopped up hotdog. I hate hotdogs SO MUCH and it ruined that part of the meal. The cabeza taco was bomb though

In the vast culinary desert of Savannah, this spot usually shines like a well-seasoned taco under the Georgia sun. Easily one of the more authentic Mexican joints in town — when it's on its A-game.

But today? The flavor gods must have taken the day off. The food was doing its best impression of cardboard in a sombrero — technically Mexican, but not exactly a fiesta in my mouth. And while I’m all for paying for good food, dropping $53 for three people...

The first time I tried Los Campos, I wasn’t all that impressed but I decided to give it another shot, and I’m so glad I did. Ever since then, it’s been nothing short of amazing. Now, I grab something from there at least once a week. Hands down, it’s the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Flavorful, consistent, and totally worth the revisit.
