The Bamboo Room Tiki Bar

Hidden gem! I was in town for a couple of days and I'm always have to find a tiki bar. I spotted this place online and I have to say, it is fantastic! BEAUTIFUL decor, tasty drinks and has a high end tiki feel. It was surprisingly not busy. A few people at the bar, but we had our choice of tables. We caught the last of happy hour and then I went to the menu. We already had dinner so I didn't get any of the food but the drinks were very tasty. The truth of it is I was surprised that it was as empty as it was but I'm not complaining because we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Granted, we were there in offseason and I could only imagine what it would be like during season. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a great Tiki bar or just a unique experience. I bought one of their custom Tiki mugs to add to my extensive collection too! They also sell really cool Mai Tai glasses and zombie glasses. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Savannah.

We stop in here every time we’re in Savannah. We’ve probably been four or five times since 2020. It used to be fantastic and reasonably priced but our most recent visit this past weekend will the last.

The food is mediocre at best now and wildly overpriced. We got shrimp skewers, and it turned out to be just two shrimp for $15. Outrageous. Not even seasoned properly either. Plus, we had to wait 45 minutes to get those two shrimp because some mysterious miscommunication caused our order to get messed up.

I will say the bartender at least comped us the food after they mistakenly charged us twice for it and he could tell we were getting angry about all the issues, but the atmosphere, price, and service has gone down hill in recent years. Plenty of other good places in Savannah to spend your money.

Chef Danny made the night! He's creative, friendly, serves great food...we look for him to be famous chef one day! Everyone else was great as well. Had a great time. It's a must stop for visitors!

Customer service non existent. Spent $20 for a $1 of tuna with the tuna tartare and the avocado it came with I couldn’t even bite into. Mentioned it to the server and she seemed bothered and the management couldn’t be bothered either. One of the happiest memories I had from four years ago when I visited last and extremely disappointed overall.

Spent a little time here to celebrate a retirement at work. Food was very good. Enjoyed the pickled okra, cheesy crab fries, and oysters.

This place is awesome! Loved the decor and cocktails were on point. I tried a mai tai and a saturn, both for the first time trying their traditional versions. Both were very nice, I really can't decide which I preferred! Loved the balanced taste each had. I also had the polynesian ceviche that was made with ahi tuna and coconut milk, super flavorful and frezh. The bartender was super friendly and helpful.

Excellent tiki drinks- painkiller, corpse reviver, seasonal frost bite and silent nightcap were delightful. Awesome atmosphere and plenty of seating and space. Would come back many times.

THIS is a Tiki Bar! Unlike many places that claim to be, this is! Love it. Too bad they didn’t pay their heating bill and we froze inside.

The Bamboo Room Tiki Bar is AWESOME! especially at Christmas! They deck it out with Christmas decorations and they have awesome holiday cocktails that are to die for! And it's a big menu too! You can't just have 1 cocktail! Great service! They take reservations for big groups if you want to do girls night out or something.
