This is the kind of fun dining a traveler could hope for. Stopped in for an evening dinner. The place was packed. Got a seat at the bar and the wonderful bartender soon took my order and since I do not drink fixed me up with a refreshing glass of water. I ordered the Cajun tortellini with shrimp and scallops. While waiting found the people around the bar to be very friendly and talkative. The atmosphere was great! Soon my meal arrived, the food was hot, seasoned perfectly...
I absolutely loved the food here. I ordered the snow crab and crab soup. The soup was spicy and robust with flavor. You must try the potato salad side item. The potato salad was the best I've ever had and I'm super picky bc I thought my mama made the best. ?

Then you have to try out Cotton Exchange Tavern! The Cowboy Reuben and Crab Cake Sandwich were incredible. The fried calamari appetizer was good but had a bunch of just fried crispies from the bottom of the barrel. Tasted good, but would not say it's a must-have like the sandwiches.
