Don't let the “Factory” in their name mislead you. The food was cooked perfectly! Shrimp & hush puppies were delicious. Often fries are an afterthought. These were crispy outside & fluffy inside. Karen's service was excellent- attentive but not disruptive. Awesome!
Our reservation was for 5:30, we arrived about 20 minutes early and was seated right away. Our server Liz was friendly and very helpful, informed us of the menu. Appetizers and drinks were brought quickly and our entree order was taken. Atmosphere was quiet with easy listening music which was nice compared to the loud music and people at the restaurant we were at last night. Our food was hot and delicious! Wife ordered a cherries jubilee which wasn't exactly what we had thought...
When I made the reservation I was worried that the restaurant would feel like a tourist trap with mediocre food. Our experience was just the opposite of that! The restaurant had a friendly vibe and the food was delicious. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was outstanding. I'm so glad we went to The Shrimp Factory.
