Came here for dinner with a group of four and overall had a really great experience, with one hiccup that’s worth noting.
We ordered a mix to share, two salads, the focaccia, chicken parm, and two pizzas, and the food was excellent across the board. The standout was definitely the short rib special pizza, seriously amazing. The focaccia was also a highlight, super light and airy, and the dipping sauces were so good we didn’t leave a drop behind.
Service throughout the meal was warm and attentive, which really elevated the experience.
The only downside was how things started. We arrived at 5:55 for a 6:00 reservation and were told we couldn’t be seated until exactly 6. Normally not a big deal, but we were walked past several empty tables, including ours, and asked to stand by the bar for a few minutes, which felt a bit awkward and set an odd tone to kick things off. It’s clearly not on the host or waitstaff, but it might be something for management to reconsider in terms of the guest experience.
That aside, the food and service really delivered, and I’d definitely come back.

A pleasant, small restaurant with attentive and engaging staff, and exemplary pasta dishes with homemade pasta.

Made a reservation for dinner and we were seated in the front dining room area, which seems to be quieter than the larger dining area with the bar. We were excited to have some delicious pasta, but our entrees were quite underwhelming. The flavors were great, but the agnolotti came out at room temperature and the strozzapreti noodles seemed to be slightly undercooked rather than a proper al dente. The crispy potatoes were delicious and hot. Our server, Sydney, was very attentive and engaging, and provided a quality experience despite the underwhelming meal.

Chicken parm was unbelievable!! I would go back just for that. Their entrees don’t automatically come with sides unless there is an upcharge for pasta to go with it. Tiramisu was so yummy and light, whole reason why we went! Restaurant was more loud than expected but we could still hear each other with just 2 people.

The food was awesome, even the dessert was great. The bartenders were the best. The services were very nice.
We plan on visiting them a lot on our vacation to Savannah. Thank y'all for a wonderful evening.

It was larger than i thought but they did use the available space for tables. I felt a little crowded and since we were at a table for two in-between two seating areas the traffic was continuous. I had the Baked Rigatoni. It was good and the serving was just right. It came with a homemade bread that was delicious. I also had the Hugo Spritz which was light and very refreshing. The noise level was loud and it was hard to hold a conversation. The service was good and we were checked on frequently by our waitress. All in all it is a nice restuarant with an interesting take on Italian cuisine. I encourage people to try it.

Delicious next level food, excellent and engaging service. Sidney at the bar is an absolute gem. Top notch evening all around.
Tried this out tonight with a friend. It was really good. I had the Caesar salad for starters. Then I ordered the chicken Parmesan, which was very excellent. I think our waitresses Name was Haley. She was spot on. Never let our drinks ever get to the bottom before she got us another. Absolutely wonderful. I’ll definitely be going back.

We could not say enough good things about Veratina last year. It was our go-to restaurant. A hidden gem. Tonight’s meal with our out-of-town visitors changed everything. Never have we been anywhere in Savannah where our Canadian driver’s licenses were not acceptable as ID. Our wonderful waiter explained it is restaurant policy. So, no drinks for any of us, ages 26-62. The dish I hoped for was sold out. The special drink had only a couple left, and after ordering the special skirt steak, the waiter returned to say that, too, was sold out. He was profusely apologetic. Not his fault. We wonder how a restaurant, at 6:00pm, could be out of so much. The Caesar salad was good, the shrimp scampi as well. It was unfortunate they did not arrive together. We waited with salad in front of us another ten minutes for the scampi. Two of us had the chicken parmigiana (not our first choice but our choices were sold out). While generous, one had tomato sauce underneath it, the other did not. The pasta dish was small, but tasty. The pizza was lacking the promised kick. Overall, very disappointing and our go-to will have to be elsewhere.

Jake & Emily were SO amazing. We sat at the bar for happy hour and dinner and they were so attentive, helpful, and fun. The perfect amount of attention, gave us great suggestions, and kept us laughing. I highly recommend spending your evening with them at the bar!

15/10! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone interested! Me and my man visited for the first time and are already planning our next visit! He had the pizza with pepperoni and said that it was delectable. I had the chicken Parmesan with was probably the best I ever had in a restaurant. The service was immaculate so thank you Andrew! The lemon drops were so good and potent lol! We will be back!
