Close to our Airbnb and we wish we would’ve gone even sooner! Don’t be afraid of the price range that Google states for it, you can get a lovely pizza, soak up some atmosphere and have a drink for about 30 bucks a person. Great atmosphere, very accommodating server and the food is crazy good and innovative! If they have the special three mushroom pizza when you’re there, do not hesitate, order it and get one to-go also because you’ll want one tomorrow too lol

This was hands down our favorite restaurant during our visit to Savannah (and we’re from the foodie city Chicago). Arancini and Cesar salad were fantastic. We loved the sausage pasta and chicken parm. Tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. Staff was excellent! Can’t wait to come back to Savannah for another great meal!

Best restaurant in Savannah. The owners are meticulous about the food, service and atmosphere and it shows.
This was our favorite meal in Savannah. It was all perfect and we wish we would have went two nights in a row. If you are a pizza, homemade pasta, and wine lover. This is your place! Looking forward to returning the next time we are in town. Prices are excellent as well.

The food was definitely the highlight—the Shrimp Scampi is a must-order, and our server was kind and knowledgeable throughout the meal.
However, the start of the experience put a damper on the evening. Despite having a reservation ourselves, we were told immediately upon arrival that we had a strict time limit because of an upcoming booking. It made us feel rushed and unwelcome before we had even sat down. Additionally, the drink selection felt a bit limited compared to the quality of the food.
Overall, great food and service from the waitstaff, but the host policy needs work.

The best food I’ve had for my entire stay in Savannah!!! The shrimp scampi appetizer was the most flavorful that I have ever encountered. The steak was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were the perfect mix of crispy and tender and so well-seasoned. The waitress was delightful and the food came out quickly. The only issue was that is a small place and can be loud - not the restaurant’s fault at all.

I wanted it to be good, especially at the price point and because we were celebrating a special occasion. But that want was lost on me as was the fact that we were even celebrating something.
I made a reservation online for the 4 of us, and it asks the usual questions: time, date, party size, celebrating anything etc. As I went through I made sure to make note that we were celebrating my partners birthday.
We arrived a few minutes early to a very loud front entry way and a host that seemed a bit frazzled. She greeted us asked the name and then asked another person to seat us (neither of them mentioned or said happy birthday) They were busy, but there were open tables further into the restaurant space. We were taken to a table right in the walkway and seated without the table being set for service. They kind of slid the plates under the menus that they had placed before.
The table was awful and right near the bathroom and in the path of the prep kitchen. People kept walking by with containers of food back and forth past us. And the host had on these clogs, and as she walked by the table you felt every step. She walked so hard and constantly back and forth it was hard to concentrate on conversation or enjoy the space.
Our server arrived with trainee in tow and told us the specials and got us drinks (no mention of the occasion). When she came back she got our order; and we told her that we were fine for the food to come as it was ready. BIG MISTAKE.
Our salads came out in weird increments and the timing of the rest of the meal was off. The risotto was ridiculously salty. Like it had sat and reduced in the steam table before being reheated and more Parmesan added. The garnish was refrigerator cold and made for an odd flavor and temperature combination. My partner order the rigatoni, and at $26 it doesn’t come with a protein. He originally wanted the chicken parm and when he was told it dint come with pasta, again $26, he settled for the rigatoni. Both couples ordered a different pizza and the crust was crisp on the edges and dripping wet in the middle.
Again, I was excited about going and had really high expectations for the price point. With no appetizers, and my partner having one cocktail we spent $65 a person with tip. No one mentioned the occasion that was listed in the reservation, I even added an extra note that had his name listed. The loud atmosphere and constant parade of kitchen staff and the host stomping back and forth made it a less than pleasant experience.
Definitely a one and done and will not recommend. The only reason they got 2 stars out of me is because the service was decent.

Wow! This place was amazing. Phillip was our server and from the very start you could tell he was passionate about his job. He walked us through the menu and even gave us some samples of wine to help us decide. The food was AMAZING! The Arancini That he recommended was so good as was the chicken parm and rigatoni. The atomosphere is cozy and romantic! If we lived in Savannah this would be a go to for us. Some of the best food and experience we ever had, Veratina is lucky to have Phillip!

I was really disappointed by my experience here. The server we had was amazing. No wrong on her part. She offered to replace the food, which I declined. The food and drink is what disappointed me. For the price point I shouldn’t be surprised to see 7 pasta pieces on my plate. Of course they over charge for Italian pasta. But I was sorely disappointed by the sauce that the $3.75 a piece pastas were smothered in. It was way too salty. It’s a brown butter sauce, that wasn’t brown. It was just salty butter. And compared to other review pictures, I really got a bad plate. The coffee specialty drink was also too sweet and tasted more like tea than coffee. Just because a restaurant comes off as nice, doesn’t mean the food is. Very disappointing experience. The only thing the manager did was offer to replace to food; which the server had already done and I declined. This was a special occasion, so I’m really unhappy that we spent so much money and had such a bad experience. Not worth the money in my opinion. Go to Lucia instead. As a local, I would not recommend this place.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and I cannot stress enough how great it was. The service was great and the food was amazing, it is kind of pricy but for special occasions I would say it’s well worth it! I got the chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta.

Have been for Dinner and Brunch now. Nothing disappoints. The scampi is elite and the wood-fired pizzas bring the boom.

We went tonight for dinner. Got us to our table early. We had an EXCEPTIONAL meal all around. Got focaccia, cesar salad, chicken parm with pasta and broccolini. Drinks were great, all the food was amazing. The chicken parm was other level. Special shout out to our amazing server Andrew, made our evening so special. We will be back, need to try everything!!!

Our server, Emily guided us through the menu and wine list with ease. She was amazing! The homemade pasta dish my boyfriend had was a bologanese type of sauce. It was a special for the evening. It had a homemade red sauce with some type of crispy pancetta or other meat. I had the house made risotto and added grilled chicken! The chicken was so tender and risotto, creamy and delicious. We tried two special wines on the menu. The red was our favorite and similar to a tempernillo. Our tiramisu is the best I've tried in Savannah. The ambiance for our date night was perfect! Sitting down where we could see the chefs create such amazing cuisine, really highlighted our experience. Thank you to all who made our night so special. We can't wait to return and try brunch.

We were visiting Savannah and excited to try Veratina. We had the pear salad which was great. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak and I had the rigatoni. The steak was tasteless and extremely fatty. My pasta was bland and probably the worst pasta that I have ever eaten. Very disappointed and definitely not worth the $$$ we spent.

I had an excellent meal at Veratina. The arancini with pepperoni sauce are not to be missed. The strozzapretti was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and just the right size. The apple crumble for dessert was perfect in every way. Phillip provided outstanding service and made wonderful recommendations. I can’t recommend this place enough.
