Vic's on the River never disappoints!! The food, ambiance, service, friendliness and more all add to our 5-star rating!! To top it off you can actually have conversations in a normal voice! Ask for a seat in the main dining room. Richard was amazing! Thank you!!

Vic's is one of our faves. I tried the Pecan cocktail and it was delicious (maybe just a bit on the sweet side.) All guests enjoyed the the she crab soup, and their meals (chicken salad, crab cakes, shrimp and pasta, and meatloaf.) I had the meatloaf and it was very different than what I was used to (although the server did warn me.) It's more of a mustard-based topping which I found a bit overpowering. Lively jazz trio on Sunday afternoon made it a great visit from old friends from out of town. We'll be back!

Fabulous food, service and ambiance! Our party of 4 enjoyed 4 different meals and each one was excellent. One of us is lactose intolerant and the server and chef easily accommodated his restrictions and presented an excellent flounder entree.

Came here for our anniversary- The first table they sat us in was cramped in with four other tables, so I went up to the hostess and they were very sweet. They moved us to a table in the corner with a view of the river and took great care of us. The food was great as well!

Wesley made a wonderful meal a wonderful experience! My friend's cocktail was not tasting correct-he was kind in his replacement of it! We had the fried green tomatoes-I thought delicious-my friend who makes her own deemed them excellent! The crab cake and I mean CRAB cake was even better. We shared fried chicken, grits, collard greens and mac and cheese. As we waddled out throughly sated but not overstuffed we were grateful to Wesley and thrilled to have dined so graciously.

Excellent food and service. My wife and I both thought the seafood we ordered was among the best we've ever experienced. The server and host staff were very nice and accommodating. If we have the chance to return to Savannah, we will definitely reserve a table at Vic's on the River again.

The Sunday brunch in December was advertised as a Jazz brunch but the jazz group only played in the front and nothing could be heard from the dining room. We didn't get to experience the music at all in the 2 hours we were there. Foodwise, it was ok - one of our filets was very tough and not great quality, but the other was good. We also ordered the chef's special deviled eggs and they weren't very good - the flavor was weird, almost a bit fishy. We were never told what they were, so perhaps I wouldn't have ordered them if we knew what they were, so that is my mistake. Overall it was fine, but it wasn't what I was expecting and hoping to celebrate a birthday.
