Wesley made a wonderful meal a wonderful experience! My friend's cocktail was not tasting correct-he was kind in his replacement of it! We had the fried green tomatoes-I thought delicious-my friend who makes her own deemed them excellent! The crab cake and I mean CRAB cake was even better. We shared fried chicken, grits, collard greens and mac and cheese. As we waddled out throughly sated but not overstuffed we were grateful to Wesley and thrilled to have dined so graciously.

Excellent food and service. My wife and I both thought the seafood we ordered was among the best we've ever experienced. The server and host staff were very nice and accommodating. If we have the chance to return to Savannah, we will definitely reserve a table at Vic's on the River again.

The Sunday brunch in December was advertised as a Jazz brunch but the jazz group only played in the front and nothing could be heard from the dining room. We didn't get to experience the music at all in the 2 hours we were there. Foodwise, it was ok - one of our filets was very tough and not great quality, but the other was good. We also ordered the chef's special deviled eggs and they weren't very good - the flavor was weird, almost a bit fishy. We were never told what they were, so perhaps I wouldn't have ordered them if we knew what they were, so that is my mistake. Overall it was fine, but it wasn't what I was expecting and hoping to celebrate a birthday.

Good cocktails and a great view of the river if you have a window seat - be sure to request it. Large portions so order accordingly. Great oysters from Tybee Island, very good biscuits, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp & grits. Fried chicken was a bit salty for our taste. Friendly service. Probably the best meal we had in Savannah this trip.

Outstanding experience. Celebrated an anniversary at lunch and everything was exceptional. Our servers Andy and new trainee Max could not have been more professional, accommodating yet personable. They made our time extra special. Love this place (haven't been for 10 years) and now that we moved to the area look forward to retuning often!

Great food and service. We were sat in a back area near the kitchen and bathrooms - not ideal but our server made up for it with his great personality and recommendations. Check out the civil war handwritten map on the wall - such a cool historic artifact!

I was disappointed. We saw reviews and decided to eat here for our anniversary. The place when you walk off elevator is crowded and loud and that dampened the mood. We made reservations months ahead and mentioned it was our anniversary. There was never a mention of it at all or weee we even asked if we were celebrating anything. The drinks were better than the food. My husband had the special, a Wygu steak that was so tough it looked painful to eat. We mentioned to our waitress who was lovely. The manager came over and made an excuse that was poor. I was expecting them to make it right and the bill came and they did not. Overall poor dinner and poor management. Would not recommend.

Honestly the best food hands down! We had calamari to start, shrimp & grits (BEST ever and so flavorful), scallop risotto and seafood pasta! So good we went back the next day for lunch. 10/10 service and food, HIGHLY recommend.
