Expensive for tourists place recommended by our hotel….Our plates (schrimps and grits) were too salty and told it to our waiter. He answered « oh yes I know, it happened often » but didn’t prose any compensation like dessert. The fried chicken was dried and the veggies too salty as well.
They gave us a table in the middle of fresh air…and refused us table on the nice room because only for 6 whereas the restaurant was empty. Then we sat next to the piano who started two minutes after !!!
For four, we paid 170$ ! Next time we will look for restaurant more on the back of the city. Don’t go there, we felt scamed!

Vic’s gets a 10/10 HANDS DOWN. We had a private party for about 40 people and the staff at Vic’s were absolutely phenomenal! Their level of service beat our expectations 10 times over. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and the food was amazing. Sana and her team did their big one tonight. Special shout out to Xavier for slinging the best drinks all night. We will definitely be back!

An excellent dining experience. A very elegant evening enjoying all of what VRG has to offer.
Service was very pleasant. The food exceptional and the evening . . . unmatched, while here in Savannah.
This place came recommended by a passerby in our elevator. He said, “You cant go wrong with Vick’s”. So off to Vic’s it was. A very nice walk from our Hilton hotel nearby. Very flat stroll amongst the cobbled rocks and old rail tracks along the river’s edge. Plenty to look at.
VRG is a must do.

Overpriced for the food. I had a Reuben sandwich wich was dry and from the looks of it was under a heat lamp for a while. Was not impressed at all!!!

Food was outstanding. My favorite were scallops with risotto. We also had crabcakes, grouper and she crab soup. Service was ok.
Outstanding experience! Excellent service and food! A great way to start celebrating our Xmas Holiday!
A must stop when in Savannah also hit the happy hour from 4-5 where you can get half off all glasses of wine Great value
Fried green tomatoes floating in “old “ grease. Could not eat. Looked beautiful, but was so greasy. Chicken fried, but not a heavy crust. Grits good. Collards, no taste and lots of stems. Coleslaw, ok Service excellent. Disappointed.
Great restaurant with great food, service and drink. We went pre concert and got out in a timely fashion too.

We don't get there often enough. Great bar and service. Usually there for lunch. I order the fried oyster lunch. Always good. Never covered in oil. My wife orders the shrimp and grits. Never been disappointed. Great upscale look to the bar. One of our favs on River Street.

Will need to pay for parking. Food prices will be between $10 and $20 unless you get steak then its about $45. Steak was delicious (had it medium rare) and their river grill burger is delicious.

Stopped in for a late lunch with our two young kids and had a pleasant experience. The service was friendly and attentive, the food and drinks were decent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
