Dining with Dirk: Sunday Edition of never have I ever. I've frankly let myself down for not trying it sooner; it's an entire vibe. At Waters Cafe in Baldwin Park, the staff greeted me and exchanged pleasantries as soon as I entered. Very colorful and cozy little cafe. I LOVED the waffle sammie-- the best mcgriddle equivalent I've had. They have seasonal drinks and I ended up with the hibiscus lemonade-- wonderfully tart like lemonade should be. Everything I've had here is just so tasty. They have special syrups as well.

I would not have tipped had I known I needed to get up and get my own silverware after the food was brought out. (Mom was not impressed with the waffles.)
