I've been to a ton of Jamaican restaurants and this one is the absolute best by far. Small hole in the wall but world famous as well. I go by and pick up lunch or dinner 3 times a week
Like most of the reviews on this place, I've passed by it so many times without ever giving it a second look. The food from the grill always smelled good, though. It has the look of a great Caribbean spot... right along the side of the road with smoke and smells coming from inside and around back. I finally decided to stop and grab a plate. The patties were good... without a doubt the best thing I had. The jerk sauce is overpowered with vinegar. It splashed on a little bit...
Every time I’m in the area, I make sure to stop by. I always get there right when they open. The rice and curry chicken is my go-to, and the chicken or beef patty is also a must-try. The prices are great, and the food is always fresh. On my last visit, I even got to watch him make it right in front of me. I would definitely recommend this spot!
