The River Bar is a terrific lobby option at The Cloisters Sea Island. The friendly professional staff greets you at the host stand and at the bar. We enjoyed a quick burger and beer our first night at the resort. We especially loved their three appetizer bowl with pickled beans, and two bowls of peanut. The bar area also has ample tables and a gorgeous dining room with a roaring fireplace. Very posh decor.

Salty white bean soup and underwhelming caesar salad. Boxed croutons and no anchovies. "(. Quiche was really small and dry. Disappointing for sure. Really nice folks work there though, but may need some help in the kitchen.

Great restaurant! The waitress we had was so friendly and the service was great. I think this place takes reservations and walk-ins. We did a walk-in. We got the carrots with hot honey to share, fries to share, and then I got the greens bowl (listed under salads, may not be the exact name but I do not remember) and I asked for tofu for a vegan option and they were so accommodating! Not on the menu but got it from a different restaurant. The portion was big too. It was very great...
