Food is amazing. Edit 2/28/25 this place had the best pad see ew I've ever had. I'm truly sad if this place is closing. The owner and the staff always recognized me. They didn't even ask if I wanted a menu. They always knew what I wanted. o7

This is the best Thai food in Smyrna! I’m so sad that they are permanently closed. Please open a new location in Smyrna soon.
I loved this place because of the GF and fresh organic ingredients. I knew everything I was eating was good quality.
This was a regular restaurant choice for us, and truly upset to see it closed. Best Thai in town!

This was my favorite Thai place. Very nice ambience, delicious foods and a good variety. Service was sometimes a bit iffy (one guy in particular was just not very observant), but still good.
Sadly I think they’re permanently closed. Came at 8:30 on Saturday and the doors were covered up with brown paper. No “we’re renovating!,” sign or anything…so I’m guessing it’s a permanent closure.

Food is ok, not really worth the price in my opinion. Better food in the Atlanta area for sure. Also weirdly they wanted a reservation but we were the only people in the restaurant.
Great seafood choices, lots of GF options.

I love L’Thai. I visit their restaurants weekly because I trust their food. As someone who strives to eat mostly organic, this is it! Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options as well. And everything tastes amazing! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners today. Thank you both for your service and food. Here’s to many more years of health! :)
Vegetarian options: Mostly everything on the menu can be made vegetarian!

Our second time dining in since COVID. The first time we asked for a menu item and they did not have it ok we adjusted but ordered a small bowl of rice with our soup. It never came. Had to ask the waitstaff to please bring it. they were surly as though we were bothering them. And the place was empty on a Saturday. Tonight we went back ordered soup asked for rice and it never came asked again still nothing. After a half hour we asked about our entre and they said they lost our ticket so our food never came. Wow I have never ever had service so bad. And the place was empty. We paid for our soup. Never coming back.

The positives: I love the authentic Thai dishes like the green curry, massaman curry, their basil rolls and spring rolls and even their fish options at this location. The lighting is nice and calming and relaxing. The service staff is great, very friendly and genuine people. Free parking, and seems to be a safe parking lot / plaza from what I can see.
The negatives:
1. They have a QR code on the walls for the menu, but when you scan it, no menu loads. You can find it buried in the order online section of the website but it takes some work to find it. If you request an actual physical menu, it's very complete but has no pricing.
2. The piano track playing on the stereo sounded like kids jamming on the keys, very hard to relax and very hard not to focus on it after only a few minutes, and it seemed to go on and on for a long time. I've now made this my wake up alarm track because it was something you could not possibly sleep to.
3. Fried rice dish just tasted like vegetable oil and it really muted all other flavors on the dish, even the shrimp just tasted like oil.
4. The seat padding in the booths is pretty crushed out. Carpet is dirty /work out.
In summary, I like this place because of the location and I think it is the people and the food that make it worth visiting. It may need a few things to be a 10/10 but we'll still go back.
