This is the best bbq place in Ga. I have been coming here since I was a kid for over 40 years and absolutely love the place. Its family owned and operated and Mrs. Joy is the best. You got to try the Brunswick stew

We just stopped here today because my son wanted some BBQ ribs. We got it to go. I got the pulled pork with original sauce, fried okra, and potato salad. All of this was excellent, loved it and there was so much food. The boys got jr ribs with sweet sauce, mac and cheese bites, and fries. My son said his ribs were a tad hard to eat but his friend said he did not have any issues. They both ate it and loved the flavors. My daughter had the chicken nuggets and fries. She enjoyed it.

Old South isn't just about great food - it's about family, friends, and community. I grew up eating here and have since moved to the Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately, you just can't find BBQ this good ANYWHERE else. Old South IS the taste of HOME for me. I don't often make it home any more but whenever I do I ALWAYS stop into see Joy and eat her top notch delicious BBQ.
