This used to be the best Waffle House in the area. Then the store about a mile down South Cobb closed, and all their crappy employees came to this store. Now this store sucks. I used to come here 3 times a week or more, now I won't even come once a week. When they can't get out your order of BACON and HASHBROWNS and you walk out empty handed, you know it's bad. An order of hashbrowns covered and a side of bacon....and the waitress couldn't get it right. WTH?!?

Easy access near the Windy Hill light. I left the one on Powder Springs Rd. in Marietta since no one would take my to-go order. Austell & South Cobb is closed, so I headed to this South Cobb, Smyrna location. Excellent customer service! Dominique took my order right away and was very friendly. Food was fresh and hot all the way back home, and delicious. Lively busy atmosphere. This is where I will come from now on whether it's to-go or dine in.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Waffle House today. I came in to place a to-go order, and the young lady told me it would take about 10–15 minutes. I agreed and waited patiently for around 20 minutes. During that time, I noticed a new customer come in, place a dine-in order, and receive their food before mine.
When I politely asked about my order, the young lady scrambled to look for my ticket and then admitted she couldn’t find it. It turns out she never even gave my order to the cook. At no point did she update me or apologize until I asked.
This level of service is very disappointing and unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue so that other customers do not experience the same frustration.

With other Waffle Houses to stop at. This IS the Spot! I learned names this time for my Review Al GREAT JOB with the eggs, We like the scrambled but no whites, so what did he do? He put them in a blender first! No where else that we have been will do that! THANKS Al!!! 🤗 Today the other cook Trae did our hash browns again thanks! Very yummy, Then there is our waitress, patient, helpful and so courteous!!! Graceyn 😁 she had other tables but still checked on my husband and I. Offered a refill at the right time too. So this is it, when at home that Waffle House is the place to go! 2316 S Cobb Dr SE, Smyrna, GA 30080 near the Wendy's and Walgreens 😊 UPDATE! nervous about visiting for take out I went this evening the cook did the entire order beautifully and deliciously!!! I think her name was Menah? Sorry if she reads and it's misspelled.... 🤗
