This spot might be one of my new favorites. The food - well-seasoned, extremely flavorful, and just the right portions. They have a wide assortment of things to try as well. Even though it was busy it came out perfectly cooked and hot.The customer service - In a word, impeccable from top to bottom. El gerente (the manager) even took the time to address a concern I had and explained in detail what I needed to know with complete patienceThe atmosphere-Be prepared for a little noise from the bar if you go during happy hour. It gets a bit rowdy but nothing too crazy. People are typically just having fun. Sit back and enjoy the show.Overall, I loved my experience and we’ll be back.Vegetarian options: They have optionsParking: Tough to find spots sometimes so be prepared to walk a littleKid-friendliness: Family oriented placeWheelchair accessibility: Yes, it’s accessible

We went in before the dinner crowd, so it was not alot of people.I ordered the street tacos-chicken with corn tortillas. (They call it something different)And my husband had the Texas fajitas (steak, chicken &shrimp). The fresh guacamole price on the menu says the market price..that day it was $13.99, for a small. The chips and dip was excellent. The chips were fresh tasting and crisp. The dip had a slight spice to it.We drank Arnold Palmers with limes. The dish is composed with 3 street tacos, fresh onions and cilantro, and came with fresh fries (as I did not want the rice and beans). I was disappointed with the chicken as it was dry, and they only had maybe 5 small diced pieces on each taco. The French fries were cold. $15.99The Texas fajitas were good. Disappointed with the amount of shrimp (4 pieces) 3 cut up slices of skirt steak, and 1/2 chicken breast cut in slices. Price$ 29.99However, our waitress was fantastic and was attentive. No, I did not send my food back, I gave it to my husband. Lol I just got a salad to eat.

My husband and I have been wanting to try Zama. This was our first visit and Jared did an excellent job. Some of the best service we’ve had in years. He went above and beyond, was very friendly and stayed on top of filling our drinks. We really enjoyed the bean n cheese dip and steak quesadilla. Thank you for the awesome experience!

I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience at Zama Mexican restaurant. Despite confirming their closing time of 11 PM via Google and a phone call, I was rudely turned away at 10:31 PM by an inhospitable hostess who claimed the restaurant was closed. Upon requesting to speak with the manager, I was met with further disrespect and condescension. Despite the bar supposedly being open until 11 PM, the manager callously refused to accommodate us, citing an arbitrary kitchen closure at 10:30 PM. Such blatant disregard for customer service and adherence to their own advertised hours is utterly unacceptable. I advise potential patrons to steer clear of Zama Mexican restaurant unless they enjoy being treated with disdain and contempt.

I’ve there so many times not sure why a review wasn’t done!!The food is okay but I’m a La P…. Mexican food girly ??Literally the food is just okay, some dishes are better than others but there is a dish with shrimp & cheese that’s really good. The enchiladas are okay & so are the quesadillas.Convenient location & friendly staff. The restaurant can be a little more cleaner tho

I found out Zama’s has ‘Taco Tuesdays’ so a girlfriend of mine met me there last Tuesday. We arrived a little after 5 (by 6:00 the place was packed)! Our waiter was from Columbia, (a very professional young man)!?Our waiter brought the cart where they make guacamole table side. Never having been there before, (stupidly) I assumed it just part of our meal.I had a frozen Zama Margarita (I think) it was excellent, & I had the Desmechados tacos. The tacos aren’t big at all, they’re more traditional. The tacos were great, drinks were great, but when I got the check, I saw that the guac was like $15.I’m slightly irked about it because he (our waiter) neglected to mention it and the portion size was the equivalent of an avocado and a half.Parking: There are lots of eateries around Zama’s on an average evening parking is probably fine, but on Taco Tuesday and after 6:00 you’re gonna have to drive around a bit.

It's much better Mexican restaurants than these in and around the Atlanta area. The service is okay, food is okay, drinks are typically below average. People only go there because it's in a big housing, plaza area right off the highway.

Bad ventilation. Be prepared to smell like fajita onions and garlic.Otherwise, the drinks are pretty good and the atmosphere is good. Services hit or miss.
