C & L Jamaican Restaurant

Last time I was here, I was very disappointed especially after sending almost $90.00 on 3 meals and a Pattie. I waited a few minutes while the female was on her cell phone and talking to another younger female that was working. I ordered 2 Large Oxtails, and it had no flavor, they gave me at least 3 of them were like a bone. No plantains as usual and the rice seem as it was old. Very sticky and even with the oxtail gravy, it still did not help, and it was spicy. Too much money nowadays to be paying that for food that we actually threw in the garbage.

Plus encourage your workers to pay attention to the customers. We are your supporters and would like to keep your business in the community if it is correct. I am going to give it another shot, I just hope I am not disappointed again. And I do understand that you are going to have some bad days but someone else a few months ago had the same comment about the females in there talking and letting customers wait. Please change that and thank you if you took the time to read this.

One word for the food FYE. Restaurant is very very small. There was no one there when I walked in but a line forming when I walked out. I definitely will be returning.

Updates it was so good to me that I went back today. The cabbage taste different not as good as it did the first time and the first time I purchased small oxtails this time I purchased a large I got more oxtails the first time and this second time nothing but big bones but also to this was a different girl whom served me and she gave me oxtails bones that barely had meat on it I was very disappointed . With bones and fat changed my stars because I want what I pay for

I frequently visit this restaurant and unfortunately many times the front staff is rude. I just called to order Rasta pasta and she told me to wait because Delton was outside. She put me on hold and then hung up the phone. I attempted to call right back twice to place an order even if the Rasta pasta wasn’t available and no one answered. There have been other occasions where the front staff was just very short and not helpful. I went to the Mexican restaurant and got tacos instead. It’s not worth the headache to deal with rude staff.

I ordered curry goat and got a box of Bones basically in a bunch of rice I don't think I'll be ordering delivery again I need to see what I'm being given with this place

The brown skin thick girl at the register always has an attitude on her face... needs to smile or just have a neutral look energy is everything when it comes to food service.... otherwise good food nice owners... but the cashier n servers are the face of a business and they should consider playing music

I give this two stars because the presentation and the tricky mess with the oxtail. I bought a large oxtail plate for $30 through uber because I work from
Home. I received 4 bones which two had no meat on it at all. It was like someone already ate the food. I’m not sure what happen but NVER AGAIN IN LIFE . I ordered out a lot and I try to support our local black owned businesses but I’m at a point where I’m good on that. A plate full of bones and rice. You got me this one time but never again.

I have known Cynthia and Leslie for 5 years! Cynthia and Leslie are husband and wife and they own the restaurant. Cynthia brother Gerald if the main chef who is responsible for most of their fabulous cooking! Thier food is prepared natural and is very authentic 👌! My favorite food is the curry shrimp with a side of extra vegetables, plantains and ground food 😋! I also love e thier oxtail with peas and rice,vegetables and plantains! And there is other things I love from them.. They also make organic drinks 🍸 and bakery goods! Keep up the fantastic work !

These people make great food and they are so nice on top of that! Very kind for them to add extra sauce without any trouble.

As much as oxtails cost to serve, a plate of bones is disrespectful. My intentions were to take it back for a refund, but I will never patronize this place again.

THE BEST. WOW. I’ve had Jamaican food before, but hands down this place is the BEST. I got curry chicken & carrot cake/bread. SO GOOD!
