Take out only, atmosphere is exactly what a tiny family owned Caribbean takeout typically is. Owner was there working, very friendly people. Food is excellent, the dirty rice has a hint of nutmeg, which I haven’t noticed at other places, but I found to be addictive. One of the best dirty rice dishes I’ve ever tried. Got the lg jerk chicken, was given nearly a whole chicken, chopped into pieces, and slide off the bone tender and juicy. Plantains were a little undercooked personally, but still quite good. Online menu isn’t price accurate: med jerk chicken plate is $15, lg is $17, but well worth it for the quantity and quality of the food. Will absolutely go back. Prices were about $2 less/ plate than the last place I visited, and food was every bit as good.

I got large oxtail and BABY 😋 absolutely delicious. Nice sized serving, delicious dark gravy, well seasoned, falling off the bone. Cabbage was perfect, tasted a hint of coconut. I really enjoyed my meal and this will by my new go to place for Jamaican food!

This place hands down is my GO TO for fresh absolutely great food. Ive had the red snapper, then the lunch special w/ curry chicken. Everything was very tasty and a good portion size. Well worth your money. Lunch special was Tuesday and it was $8.50! Well worth it. Thanks to the chef❤️and his staff

Never again. Flies inside and all over the food, said they were running out of oxtail and still continued to let people order. In turn, i got a plate of rice and 2 piece of oxtail.

I usually have a pleasant time at this restaurant but this last time was VERY unprofessional and overall DISAPPOINTING! I placed an order over the phone and an item I ordered was missing from an approximately $60 order. I live 30 minutes away from the restaurant. I called to rectify the situation but instead, after a few minutes on hold, I overheard someone screaming in the background about them not being able to do anything about it. I had to drive BACK to the restaurant and was not acknowledged after the cashier addressed the banshee and let her know I was there. The Fried Dumpling shaped woman continued to ignore me so I approached her and expressed my grievances. She looked at me up and down as if she wanted to fight and the business owner stepped in. After 10 minutes of going back and forth and them realizing we were correct, we were given the QUIETEST “I’m sorry” and FINALLY received our refund. VERY DISAPPOINTED since I’ve been going there since they opened and they WERE my go to Jamaican restaurant.

The food from this place never disappoints. My favorite is the jerk chicken pasta, but everything from the rice and peas to the cabbage, curry chicken has been delicious. I recommend this place.

The food was good overall. Just went toward the end of the night. Saw some plantains just sitting out uncovered on top of the other food. Looked dry as hell - I asked for some fresh ones . The attendant went to the back and came back to say there were none. Against my better judgment, I got a few of the dried up looking ones and they were disgusting. Other than the Dried up plantains, which they really should’ve just thrown away. Everything else was really good. May go back, but not towards closing time.
