Got the tamales🫔 and it was too spicy🔥🌶 for me but the rice and beans were good 🍚🫘

This is a first, I usually enjoy everything about ElJinete. I tried the taco Birria 3 tacos, I ended up with one tacos, the rest was fat. Very disappointed, so I wont order that again. Normally everything is great.

I would give one star due to the to-go male worker (wish I had got his name…I would have mentioned him personally) that helped me and his TERRIBLE attitude, but I have been going to this restaurant for so long that I can’t give one . I placed an to go order for carne asada tacos, and if you have been to this restaurant before you know they give you a lot food for the tacos and sides. As I was placing the order on the phone, I informed the to-go worker that I wanted ALOT of limes in the bag bc I was sharing the food. He told me ok, it will be in the bag. When I came to pick up my food shortly after, I paid and TIPPED (wish I didn’t with his attitude) the to-go worker. Before I left he informed me that it was only 1 lime in the bag. I politely asked the to-go worker if I could get another lime , and he gave me the most craziest look for asking for another lime. He went to the bar that is right across from the to-go station to give me a lime , and when he returned he had the lime wrapped in a napkin. When I asked for a container to put the limes in …which I thought would have been common sense to do anyway. He again gave me craziest look like I was bothering him for doing his job. Another worker noticed what was going on and I informed him of the situation like why would he hand me limes in a napkin like this for a to-go order , and the worker just laughed it off. When the to-go worker returned, instead of giving me a container that I asked for, he came back with aluminum foil for me to wrap it in 😂😂😂😂. The food was great , however the service was absolutely terrible over limes!!!!

El Jinete ALWAYS on point! The menu has a nice variety of delicious food and the drinks are top notch (nice and strong 😜). The staff is always polite and treats regulars like family.

First time here If you live in the area I imagine you don't have much else to call Mexican food. Combo #1 chicken came with a soggy crunchy taco and to barely rolled enchiladas. I assume my order didn't deserve the respect or care of presentation. Honestly the ingredients are good but the greeting when I walked in was not a please come back and see us or hey is this your first time. Ambiance is monochromatic and I guess I would have to sit there to get the food prepared right.

I was very disappointed with my recent order. We’ve eaten here before and always had good experiences, which made this situation upsetting.

The tortillas had mold on them, there was a hair in the chicken, and the chicken was very salty. Since this meal was for my young children, this was very concerning.

Great food and fabulous margaritas!!! Ramon is absolutely amazing!!!

First time here and will definitely be back, was very surprised at how flavorful the food was. I have been to other restaurants where their meats are not flavored at all and this place really has it all flavor, big portions, and very attentive waiters.
