Always see this place and figured I’d finally try it out. There was no wait but it was empty. Two other vehicles in the parking lot. Food was mediocre. The waiter was decent. The queso and salsa were okay. Was kind of a let down. Had an old restaurant feel but was very meh experience. Probably won’t be back again.
Food was good, service not good - our waiter forgot us and some of the food we ordered. Saw a young girl working there pour the salsa from a serving bowl back into the dispenser jar and that kinda made me think. Will not be going back.
We have been going to this restaurant on & off for years. It's a popular Mexican restaurant in Springfield open 7 days a week and often crowded. Besides eating in, lots of people carry out. There is a bar, too. We've often seen large crowds, either after-church or after-sports (there is a large sports complex right down the road). When you sit down they bring complimentary chips and salsa. I always add cheese dip, and I think theirs is the best. Then I always order...
