We went to the Sunday buffet and really enjoyed it! The meats — fried chicken, baked chicken, and salmon — were all delicious with no complaints at all. The sides included mac and cheese, yams, collard greens, rice, and mashed potatoes. The yams were especially great!
The owners are super nice, and the non-buffet menu prices looked very reasonable — even cheaper than some other restaurants around. Overall, highly recommend!

This food was amazing. They had an extra non-regular menu item of turkey wings that they raved about so I ordered that as a combo. The food was sooo good and fresh. It was a large potion size and worth the money. I definitely will be back whenever I get a craving for soul food. The mac and cheese and yams were good. I highly recommend.

Food was disgusting little to no flavor tasted like rubber! Let not forget the amount they give u for 50 dollars! Two plates btw then… they added on a banana pudding that I didn’t order charged me for it and I didn’t get it I’m very disappointed I have ate all day and was dying to try them out… never again🤢

While on a work trip in Statesboro, I decided to give this spot a try due to it being black owned and good reviews. Well my experience was a total let down.
The Service. Poor. No one looked like they wanted to be at work. No one knew what was going on. I sat for 25 mins before I got my food which wasnt hot when it did arrive. I ordered the fish dinner with greens and yams and a side of shrimp. While eating this young lady let me know I needed to pay. So she wanted me to stop eating get up and pay. Which I complied but I was annoyed at this point. I mean I sat for damn near 30 mins and no one said anything about paying. Most dine in restaurants you pay after the meal but whatever. It was rude of her to request I pay in the middle of meal after their mistake. My shrimp came another 20 mins after the fish that I had to continue to ask about. Mind you it isn’t even busy in here. Then I asked about the cornbread that came with my meal and everything is I forgot or we dont know.
The food: meh nothing to write home about. It didnt taste fresh at all. Not seasoned at all and the tea tasted like it was sour or something idk. I will not return. If you are thinking about coming dont. I left this place hungry what a waste of money.
