Very nice experience. This place is so pretty and peaceful. It’s like stepping back in time for a moment to enjoy some delicious country cooking. The fried chicken is well seasoned and not overdone! It was all great actually and I’m not sure you can beat the price! And the water was great too- you all know that not everywhere in Statesboro has good water.
Very good southern home cooking, served in a beautiful historic 1911 home, great food, service, and atmosphere. The serverer brings a portion of everything on the menu that changes daily, and you can have a 2nd serving if you like. Drinks and Desert is an additional charge.
I always bring my family and friends here to show off the best of Statesboro. They leave impressed, gluttonously full, and a little envious. Just the way I like them
Vegetarian options: All the vegetable options taste farm to table. I've never asked because it tastes so much like my grandmother's, I'm afraid they'll take my plate for getting too big for my britches
