Hostess instructed me I had to go to the front desk and buy a $5 breakfast ticket before I was allowed to dine.....The buffet was picked over but the cook soon had refilled most items. He was the only one that tried to attend to customers. He also offered to get me a cold apple juice. HE WAS friendly. Eggs, and bacon were very good. The "chicken" sausage was gray, rubbery and tasteless. Biscuits & gravy also rather bland. Restaurant was quiet and nice atmosphere.

Emma's used to be a great restraunt, then before The big C it started closing more. Today went in and women at the check in desk said now only open for breakfast. Would give a 5 on previous sittings, but been awhile since I've eaten there...couple years.

The room i stayed in was actually vibrating from the noise from the airconditioning units outside. I requested a room change and was told that once the evening housekeeper arrived he would try his best to have them clean a room so they could move me. He was nice but I am sitting in my room at 9;30 at night listening to this noise and feeling the vibration. I definitely will not be staying here again.

This hotel has deteriorated in every way since the last time we stayed there. Rude front desk staff, ONE towel in our room for two people, room was not cleaned the next day so NO more towels, raw wood under the air conditioner, loud arguments in the lobby with the front desk staff, and the list goes on and on...........This place does not come close to the Holiday Inn standards we have come to expect. We are surprised that Holiday Inn Corporate allows this! Choose someplace else!

Not open for dinner after we drove 30 minutes. Hotel staff seemed oblivious that we were standing there in shock. It looks like nothing more than your typical Holiday Inn restaurant open to the lobby. They had some signs up about limited breakfast service.

I chose Holiday Inn Statesboro Georgia for my weekend getaway. The Director of Housekeeping, Ms. Shae gave me a warm welcome and went over and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant. Like most businesses, the hospitality industry is very short-staffed post Covid, but Shae never missed a beat. From arrival to departure, she made my stay exceptional. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Ashley at the front seat is the epitome of customer service. This was a business stay and she called me to confirm everything my company set up. When I arrived she was cordial and wanted to make sure I had everything for my stay. This hotel is clean and well cared for. No complaints at all. If I ever come to Statesboro on pleasure I will definitely stay here.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. My boyfriend and I decided to go today on Valentines Day. Because Emma's is never busy and we had a movie we wanted to see at 8pm. We got there at 6:30 pm. For starters we did not have a server so the host took our orders and after an hour and a half of waiting for our food with the host checking on us ONCE and still no waiter we were told that they were out of what we ordered. Keep in mind it is 8pm at this point so not only do we not get dinner on valentines but we miss the movie because we decided since it was so late it was fine if we could just get our dinner and get home which we did not get!! He did not even offer a free meal for next time. He just simply stated "we are out of the food you ordered so if you want to leave I understand." I've worked in the food service industry and I know it isn't terribly hard to let someone know if you do not have the food they ordered right away. Especially on a holiday so we had time to go somewhere else!

We have been to Emma's twice and both times it was exceptional! The salmon and burgers are out of this world. Marcus and Tony out did themselves! And Lesley, our server, was the best!!
