Chicken salad sandwich was delicious. Macchiato was good. Was a cute and charming place.... HOWEVERRRR, in the middle of taking a test, just after I got done eating, one of the worker or owner asked my classmate and I if we can go sit at the bar so others can sit and eat. Never have that happened to me anywhere, no matter how busy it gets. Not sure if it had anything to do with me and a classmate not being the same race as everyone else in there, BECAUSE we were the only two of color. There were other tables with people there WAYYY BEFORE us... rude. On top of that, it wasn't a please can you guys go sit there or would you consider sitting at the bar. Nope, basically telling us to. Oh and did I forget to mention, the barista brought me a Togo box not even halfway to eating my sandwich? Now thinking of those two occurrences, I didn't feel welcomed at all. I'm sure this place is loved by the community but do better with servicing and treating others all equally. First and last time going here unfortunately.

Overall the daily grind is not a bad spot to grab drinks and do some computer work, but the food here is not worth it, I got an iced chai latte and a Buffalo chicken sandwich, the chai was good but the Buffalo chicken came on a roll with loose cubed chicken in a mediocre Buffalo sauce; naturally, upon picking it up about 70% of the chicken fell out. The overall vibe of the place is nice and I'd get a drink from there but I don't recommend the food

Tip bring your own gluten free bread. Abs a jacket as it's cold where I'm sitting. Pimento cheese odd my fave over chicken salad.

Love this place. Best chicken salad in Statesboro. Cozy, small place with a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Their cakes are amazing! Don't care for their hot beverages...too strong for my taste...will come back for dessert though!

Charming little coffee shop in the heart of Statesboro. We're visiting from Charlotte, NC, which is a bit of a foodie town. We had lunch at The Daily Grind and it was absolutely delicious! We had the strawberry salad and the turkey and apricot sandwich. We highly recommend both, but especially the sandwich.

My FAVORITE place for coffee in Statesboro!! They never let me down. Daily new flavors with an already amazing menu with an added bonus of being so cost friendly. Seriously the nicest staff you'll ever meet. Wish I could write a million more 5 stars for them!

Cozy, local coffee shop that also serves a limited but fresh & delicious lunch menu. I tried the strawberry salad with a scoop of chicken salad & it didn't disappoint. The greens were fresh & light with a balsamic vinaigrette, slices of fresh strawberry, feta & candied pecans. The chicken salad was lean & savory. I'll definitely have it again. The wraps & sandwiches also sounded good. Cozy indoor tables & lounge chairs, but my fave was the outdoor patio in back with cute cafe tables under a nice shade tree. It's a local gem!

While working in Statesboro I decided to check out a new spot. So I landed at the daily grind. Not only are they the nicest people, but their food is awesome! I highly recommend the Turkey apricot sandwich, it's so different and so amazing it's a must. The chef there miss Liz is so good. I also would recommend their salads and their chicken salad. I have a feeling that everything they make is great!

In Statesboro looking for a healthy lunch. This sounded tasty & not fast food. A bit tricky to find but found it after driving past. The place is small but cute with round tables & a fireplace. Very busy @ lunch time! The menu is on the counter-a suggestion would be to have several copies with a description of each item. So many allergies now & just would be helpful for most. The sandwiches have different spreads..which I found out from asking. We had the ham & cheese, turkey wrap that has a pesto mayo & turkey apricot on raisin bread...like a club with honey cream cheese. Our tea was kept full.

This place is so amazing! The coffee is very good and super inexpensive! The only thing is that the people who work their aren't the nicest, so sometimes just take your coffee and dip. They can make you feel d*** for asking about their coffee. I feel rushed to make a decision. I would give 5 stars for the coffee and 2 stars for the workers.

Statesboro is a charming southern city and this coffee shop fits right in! The invitation when you walk in is warm and inviting. It feels like your grandma's living room with mismatched antique furniture and wallpaper on the walls. The people who run the counter are extremely friendly and will very quickly learn your name and your favorite drink. Now what to order here: if you are coming for coffee their signature is their flavored iced coffees in a MEGA cup. You literally cannot order a cup smalller than a mega because you WILL regret it. Mark my words! The iced coffee flavors change daily and seasonly and are sweet and filled with cream. If it is too sugary for you real coffee drinkers tend to go half black and half flavor but I opt for full flavor and cream every time! Oops!! You can even purchase the beans ground or whole for a reasonable price. The flavors today were white chocolate raspberry, sugar cookie, and highlander grogg. Unique flavors for sure but I haven't tasted a bad one yet and I am quite a regular here. Now let me tell you about their cook... she is amazing! Whether it is her grits bowl for breakfast or my personal favorite the pimento cheese sandwich for lunch she does not disappoint. Everything is homemade in their little kitchen with love. Seriously this is the most charming unique place in Statesboro! I will travel back just for a cup of their coffee.

Best. Coffee. In. Statesboro. The place is so unique and the atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. A good study spot for students to get a coffee and crack the books or pop in and grab a coffee to go. The staff is always super kind and sweet. I always get their iced coffee and their flavors are some of the best I've ever had, there's really no other place like it! If you like your coffee less sweeter you can ask for half of a flavor and half regular. The prices are also incredibly reasonable for how good a cup of coffee is. They sell food as well, their grits bowl is to die for! Definitely a must try! I also really like their lunch sandwiches. I've enjoyed everything I tried from here!

Great atmosphere for studying and a really nice staff. I enjoyed their coffee and food & there was not a lot of hustle and bustle.
