One of my favorite places to eat in Statesboro! Always good!!!

I was traveling through Statesboro and found this restaurant on google maps. I’m so glad I decided to try this spot out. It’s a small restaurant in a shopping plaza, but don’t let that fool you! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I received my food quickly and it was hot AND fresh. The portions were huge and the prices were extremely good…especially for seafood. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and I plan on returning, myself. Special thanks to Ms Kat who was my server today! She was awesome 👍🏼

Been here a few times over the first time the food was great the second time it was ok! but this last time the food was very bland! Idk what's going on but they need to do better!!

Food was very good except for clam strips, service was nice but I think they are short on servers because we didnt get our drinks refilled without asking for someone to get our waitresses. This review is not to be a negative, it just means this is a great restaurant but short on help. I would definitely go back but expect to ask any waitress to help you!!

Always a good choice for a family gathering. Good food at a good price with friendly and efficient wait staff. The place needs a lil updating but overall okay.

A few days ago I posted a review about my experience with this establishment. The manager Mr. Clint made it right and corrected everything that was wrong with our order. So thank you for taking your time to listen and reaching out to make sure we have a better experience.

We've been eating here once or twice a year for the last 25 years. The quality and flavor of the food is not what it used to be. My daughter, 12, ate 4 bites of her chicken sandwich due to how rubbery it was. The scallops and fish on the Big Mate platter were flavorless. The fried shrimp was mediocre at best. I only ate the baked potato on my plate. The stuffing in the stuffed flounder tasted like Stovetop boxed stuffing. The crackers and tiny container of tuna spread that used to be complimentary are now on the appetizer menu. Other seafood restaurants have found how to keep quality up while prices are rising. Unfortunately, Ocean Galley has not.

The soft crab is cleaned out a weird thing instead of leaving the yellow mustardy goods they clean it out its purely bland

We're from Pensacola, Fl. one of the seafood capitals, and this was the most awesome seafood!! We got the seniors platter and it was cooked to perfection !!
