Buyer beware. The Shane’s in Statesboro Georgia thinks nothing of ripping people off. Their buns are advertised as .25 cents for one bun. However if you order a pack of buns it’s listed as $3.00 a pack. This implies that you get more than 4 buns for a pack. However a pack is 4 buns. So $1 if you order 4. Was told by the manager there that the store manager Micah was aware of the price problem but would not address the problem because that was their policy.

I see they have a recent grand reopening. But they must’ve changed the food quality or the vendors. I’ve never eaten here and not enjoyed the food for years and years, but today both my kids couldn’t even eat their meals bc it was sooo salty. I tasted it and the cheeseburger meal and the chicken fingers were so salty you couldn’t even taste the food. So 2 meals and $$$ wasted.

Today my husband and I tried this rib shack and our food smelled delicious. We decided to take our food home to enjoy. We couldn’t wait to eat it. The ribs looked great but the sides needed some help. We got the half rack of ribs and sides. My mac and cheese was a disappointment. It was just noodles and cheese wiz. There baked beans were not anything near baked. It was just plain can pork n beans. The ribs were ok but not good enough for us to try them again. When you spend $20 on a plate, you expect your food to taste more like $20 and not like $5. We were very disappointed and will cross this place off our list.

I ordered smoked wings. Why are they fried? Why have traditional and smoked if you're going to fry both. Wings had no smoked taste at all. Good fried wings but trash if you're going to call them smoked wings. I guess that's what commercial smoked wings are now.

Very disappointed In the food. Ordered the 2 meats plate with ribs and wings. First the entire meal was extremely bland and tasteless. The ribs where tough and overcooked. If you like tough oven baked ribs without a lick of smoke flavor this is the place for you.I was wondering why there was only 2 customers in the restaurant at 1pm and now I know why. Come on Shane's rib shack you can definitely do better.

The food is always good/okay. However, it is disappointing that the sweet potato fries are gone. There is also assigned seating now so that's strange for more or less a fast food restaurant.

We got a rack of ribs and sides takeout. The ribs were delicious, but a bit past their prime but it was the last one. We wanted some smoked wings too, but they were out. We were there shortly after 1:00 in the afternoon. What are they got to do for the remainder of the day? They may be in trouble when Jim 'n' Nick's opens up. The staff were very nice.

The okra was fried too hard, the potato salad was very bland. The lemon pepper chicken tender was delicious and the baby back ribs were good. The peach cobbler was delicious.
