I had the vegetable jalfrezi with house made paneer and fresh piping hot naan. It was delicious- albeit a little pricey for a vegetarian dish. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again. The service was also good.

Good food, good times. The bar or the back porch are the best.

I called in for a pick up. I had to give my card information over the phone, I'm assuming because it was expensive and wanted to make sure it was paid for, I'm not sure. The food was delicious. That sauce in the Chicken Makhani, I couldn't get enough of it. My chicken was tender but a tad bit underseason for my preference. I loved the Garlic Naan. This was my 1st time eating Indian food and I am glad I found this restaurant because it is other things I want to try on the menu when I go back to Statesboro.

Our server was great- friendly and helpful since most of the group I was with had never been.Towards the end of our dinner, we had a very traumatic experience that had something to do with the owner or owners family wanting to show off their new car. The noise was SO loud to where the people on the back patio were genuinely scared. We didn’t know what was going on. We had a 5 month old baby with us and he was TERRIFIED. When spoken to, the manager’s “brother” who worked there only said “well we have kids too, we are just having some fun”. There was no genuine apology. I’m not one to leave a review but this had to be said.

This visit to Tandoor and Tap was absolutely atrocious.Firstly, we arrived (with reservations) and were not seated until about 20-30 minutes after arriving. Service was a bit slow, but I understand it was a busy Friday night. And secondly, towards the end of our meal when we were paying, someone in the back alleyway next to the outdoor seating where we were placed revved their car so loud it popped my ears- 5 times. We have a 5 month old that was accompanying us and the loud noise a)scared the life out of him and b) I’m sure damaged his ears to some extent. Thankfully my husband was very quick to cover his ears and after I realized what was going on, I covered his as well. Also, thankfully, I carry some noise cancelling headphones for him that we use for bowling so I popped those on as soon as I could. One of the guests in our party realized that a worker of Tandoor and Tap was standing out back with the whole group of people showing off this *boys* car-allowing it to happen. Since it was in an alleyway, the noise was amplified by 10. My husband went to go speak to a manager and/or the owner to discuss this issue and it turns out… the manager was the one standing out there letting it happen! AND they also had a baby that was in a carrier closer to the car than we were. When the manager came up and the owner as well- apparently they are related in some way to the guy who had the car- they gave a half-a**ed apology (a simple “sorry” ??‍♀️) to everything my husband was explaining to them. This is absolutely unacceptable and 0/10 worst customer service experience in my life. Never will we be returning. Hopefully my son doesn’t have ear damage from this instance. You forget that the customers are how you get your business-by word of mouth. I would never recommend this place to anyone based off of the sheer disrespect and lack of accountability. The food could’ve been amazing (not my cup of tea), but the customer service is what brings us back and because of this we will never be back.

Stayed in statesboro and found Tandoor and Tap online. Absolutely loved our dinner. Must get the chicken curry! Service was fantastic. Drinks were so good - Garrett was cool and made our night. Highly recommend!

Amazing food. Great service. Will definitely be my go to in Statesboro. The Naan was really good. Tila Masala was almost as good as Leopoldo's in Mumbai.

Not too bad of an Indian Food option in Statesboro. I got the shrimp Korma, and the taste was pretty good, but there were too many almonds added. The garlic naan was REALLY good, and the rice wasn't bad. The reason for three stars was that I had to pay for rice. I've never had to pay for rice when ordering an Indian dish, so I don't really like that. And the extra almonds were a bit too much for me. Staff were really nice here, and the lunch crowd is pretty busy. I ordered some food to go, and that came out at the perfect time. I spent about $45 for my lunch (including the to go option). Pretty normal for Indian food, but the itemized list was a bit pricier for the portions I received.

My favorite place to eat in Statesboro by far. Service and food are impeccable I'm a vegetarian and always can find a wonderful meal. The chef/owner always comes out and checks on people. Happy hour is nice also. I love bringing friends and family here when they come to visit.

Parking: The buffet luncheon from 11-2:00 costs $20 but it is well worth it. The food is excellent and you can go back for more. Very friendly and welcoming staff personnel.
