I was in town for a class reunion and stopped in for take-out with my family. The meat was very good and I was surprised at how good the meat was without the sauce. I didn't care for the barbecue sauce. It had a weird finish and I'm not used to that type of taste. Overall it was an ok experience.

Brisket was like rubber and no flavor. Green beans tasted like Pinesol. No air conditioning and it was humid. Not a good feel to this place.

This place is so good. we got a few things too. i got the bar bbq sandwiched, with mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad. i got the sweat bbq sauce on the side to put on top of the sandwich. it was all so good. hit the spot.

Can't beat Shug's chicken tenders! Always fresh hot and delicious. Highly recommend giving the BBQ tacos a try. They are my new fav. For only $8.99 you get 2 big tacos and a side! Also love the salads as well(especially with grilled chicken).

Staff was great, proffessional and polite food came out a bit cold and server at the till took it back and fixed the issue hats off to her.

Ordered shrimp PO-BOY to go it looked like they uses a hot dog bun to make it, that's how small it was , the shrimp wasn't deveined, very nasty .I could not even eat it thru it in the garbage. I will never go there

So we tried some place new and the pork was good and so was the Mac&cheese. But as far as the fries , beans and the banana pudding was nothing put foam. It was ok dinner but we will not be back.
