Ordered shrimp PO-BOY to go it looked like they uses a hot dog bun to make it, that's how small it was , the shrimp wasn't deveined, very nasty .I could not even eat it thru it in the garbage. I will never go there

So we tried some place new and the pork was good and so was the Mac&cheese. But as far as the fries , beans and the banana pudding was nothing put foam. It was ok dinner but we will not be back.

I gave it only 3 stars on food because the ribs had no flavor at all and the collard greens had so much salt they had to be sent back. I love salt but WOW it was alot. They agreed with me and offered me something else. The service was outstanding. I did enjoy the brisket. It was moist and not oversmoked. It could have had more salt. The pulled pork had good texture but no flavor. The mac n cheese was just like homemade with the browned cheese and not too much cheese sauce. The most enjoyable part of our meal....FRIED OKRA!!! Hands down the best fried okra I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I will come back and try again just to have the okra. Thank you to all the staff. You guys were attentive to our needs and friendly and the restaurant was clean. Thank you for a wonderful meal, I hope to give you 5 stars on food on my next visit.

I occasionally eat here during my lunch break at work. I really like the BBQ nachos as well as the BBQ sandwich combo. I highly recommend the homemade chips as a side!Parking: Even when they are busy there are plenty of parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu that's reasonably priced at $7 or less.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter front doors for the mobility challenged.

This was our first time at an Uncle Shugs. The restaurant was clean nothing fancy. I don't think I would do back. The ribs were ok. Not as tender and flavorful as I expected. The sauces were good and on the table so you can try them all. The fries were ok but over salted. The mac and cheese was good, not creamy.

Best BBQ in Statesboro! Friendly staff. Great sauce options. Pulled pork plate was delicious. Hand cut fries were fabulous and the baked beans were really good too.
Staff was great, proffessional and polite food came out a bit cold and server at the till took it back and fixed the issue hats off to her.
