Food average, not for me. One and done, way too many good true Mexican restaurants, nothing special unless you enjoy loud music. Back to Pedro’s for me

Don't believe the hype! My husband and I decided to see what all the hype was around Frida's and went for lunch today. I ordered shrimp fajitas and he had steak tacos. My food came out first. The tacos were hard as rocks and could not be peeled apart and the rice was uncooked, a lot of the grains were hard. My husband's food came out 10 minutes after mine. Neither of our meals had any flavor. My fajitas did not come out sizzling. Our food was so bad, we asked for a to go box for just my shrimp and left. I bought the shrimp home, and added my own seasoning. I definitely won't be going back.

First impressions weren’t great — half the parking lot was blocked off for valet service. This location and atmosphere don’t really justify valet parking, which is probably why several guests ended up parking on the grass when the regular lot filled up.

Inside, we were greeted by two armed security guards, which felt excessive and set an uncomfortable tone. It wasn’t clear what kind of crowd the restaurant was expecting.

Service was noticeably slow. Even with three or four bartenders behind the bar, it took a while just to get water and chips with salsa. We had to flag someone down several times for service and to get our check.

The food was decent — we ordered the nachos texanos — but the margarita (a skinny marg) was overly sweet and poorly balanced.

The biggest issue came with the bill. The menu price didn’t match what we were charged. When we pointed it out, staff seemed unsure and had to check with someone else. We were then told the higher price was for credit card payments, which wasn’t stated anywhere on the menu or receipt. That’s misleading and not compliant with consumer pricing laws. If this restaurant is aiming for a higher-end image, that kind of pricing practice undermines it.

My friend took me there tonight for my birthday. When you walk in there is a sign that reads if you're there more than 90 minutes you will be charged an additional $100.00. We were seated right away and nachos and salsa was placed on the table. We waited at least 15 minutes before anybody came back to take our drink order an another 10 minutes for our food order. The food came out first and a few minutes later we received our drinks, which taste like medicine. The waiter was slow to take our order but our food came out first and it was good. When the check came another customer told us to check the bill. We compared the menu price to the price on the check and we were over charged for our food and when we pointed it out they adjusted the bill. Imaging how many people have eaten there and were overcharged and not realized it.

Had the chance to visit the new location of Frida's yesterday and it was amazing! The staff were incredibly kind and personable. The food was tasty. We had lamb chops, steak and chicken fajita, and mango salmon. Everything was phenomenal. The ambiance is perfect for friends or family. This new location is incredibly spacious!
Highly recommend trying out this amazing space.

The food is nothing special the carne asada was good , however the meat with the shrimp dish was asked for well done and came out with blood. The manager did apologize and tried to make up for it with a drink which was appreciated but simply really should’ve been taken off the bill. the tacos were very mediocre the only good thing was the cantarito drink which I will say was pretty good

Disappointed in this location. 90 minute time limit at bar, not informed until you’ve been waiting on food for 30 mins. Bartenders not courteous. Unfortunate on their first day and there were no people waiting. Made it pointless to come and watch the game.

I gave 4 stars because the guacamole was too salty for my liking and the music a little bit too loud. Other than that the food was good and the service was good as well.

Ps. Keep in mind that they don't allow you to use more than one deal for happy hour, so you can get the drink or the food deal but not both. Never seen this before so I thought it was worth mentioning.
Also they charge if you sit at the table for more than 90 minutes they charge $100 an hour.

Grand Opening!!!! We were the first ones there(lol). This place is going to be popping once they settle in, a bit on the expensive side though. I had a frozen 22” peach watermelon margarita which was $20.07(total bill $68.78) for my wife and I. I had the shrimp and steak lunch fajitas, my wife had the quesabirria tacos, nothing special but our food was well seasoned. Make sure that your bill matches what the prices on the menu states, we were changed like $1.60 extra total. Will be returning and will update the my review.

How does it have a review when the place hasn't even opened yet? Any who, before it moved to the New Hope location, I really loved it but for some reason, the New Hope location it just didn't taste the same, nor was the atmosphere the same. So I'm hoping this one is good
