Went to papi’s in Stockbridge waited forever to get food and when the food did come out the waitress said here is your food, and she’s says we have no silverware they are just about to wash them. I got up and walked out. Never again will I go there. It was my first and last time I’ll go back. The nerve of management.

I ordered the Pork Bowl today, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. It may have simply been an off day, and I plan to give it another try in the future.

On a positive note, the beef empanadas were excellent—flavorful and well-prepared. The chicken empanadas, however, were a bit less seasoned than usual.

I also noticed that the overall service and atmosphere didn’t reflect the high standards I’ve come to expect. Hopefully, this was just a temporary dip.

Don’t order masistas pork chunks. All fried fat ,

Excellent service and perfect representation of Caribbean cuisine

I am pleased to note that Papi’s has made significant improvements to their establishment. The redesigned interior features a dedicated take-out area with its own staff, as well as an updated bar space that is more accommodating for guests.

While these enhancements are commendable, there is still room for improvement in customer service. The staff was not discourteous, but the level of hospitality felt somewhat lacking and could be made more welcoming. Admittedly, our visit was later in the evening (around 9:30 p.m.); however, a warmer reception would have elevated the overall experience.
