I ordered a custom cake that i explained in detail of how i wanted it to look. I received the cake and was completely dissatisfied with the result! It looked horrible! I asked initially for the cake to be remade and redelivered and was told that the owner would not remake nor refund my money! She then called me directly and said she will give a partial refund. I have yet to receive a response. 0/10!

The cashier was rude and not very helpful. She was short with her answers like I was bothering her. The strawberry cupcake icing tasted like medicine with a bad aftertaste. Update in training is needed. The Britarcliff location is 100% better.

First time trying Smallcakes and it was underwhelming to say the least. The store smell like a sewage and there was little to no air in the establishment. I tried 3 flavors for a total of 4 cakes to include red velvet, Reese’s peanut butter, and cookies and cream. Pro(s): the cakes were super moist and they are large in size.
Con(s): the icing on the red velvet is not the traditional cream cheese icing. I’m not sure the flavor but the icing tasted like the icing from the Betty Crocker container and I was not a fan of that. The chocolate peanut butter was a classic chocolate cake with a heavy peanut butter icing; not very flavorful. The Cookies and Cream was a classic chocolate cake with a butter cream cookies and cream flavored icing. Again, not flavorful. The cake tastes like it came straight out of a box. Very disappointed.

Been in quite a few times in the last month, so much so, my punch card is full. However, the store wreaks of a horrible sewage smell and because it feels like 100 degrees in there, it amplifies the smell. Not sure how the cupcakes withstand, but they do. With this level of heat we're having, it seems incredibly dangerous for the workers.

First time trying today and when I walked in the store, I couldn’t help but immediately notice how it smelled SO terrible. It was also extremely hot in the store and did not smell nothing like a bakery but rather an awful sewage smell. It was so hot and humid in the store, like the ac was not running at all. The cupcakes appearance also look nothing like the Smallcakes cupcakes I have purchased from other locations before.

I was genuinely excited to visit today—my daughter is a chef and always raves about your cupcakes. However, when I stopped by on May 7, 2025, I was immediately hit by an overpowering smell that resembled sewage waste. As a first-time customer, it was incredibly off-putting, and I couldn’t bring myself to make a purchase, even though the cupcakes looked great. I did call back to inform the staff, and I sincerely hope the issue can be resolved. I’d love the chance to return and experience what others have enjoyed so much.

The cupcakes are old and not up to the Smallcakes standard of freshness. I would rather wait until I’m near another location like Smyrna and store those cupcakes for a week than pay full price for old cupcakes from the Stockbridge location.

The ones I pictured in my review are not vegan but they are also amazing! The customer service is excellent! The young lady that made them is a sweetheart!

Update: went in for the first time in awhile and the service was really good and the quality was nice.

I've been to a few different locations (and the cupcakes are delicious), but this location has to be the worst! The cupcakes were not good and a total waste of money

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The cupcakes are not homemade they taste like boxed cake mix, dry, no flavor and the icing is store bought. I tried the one in Fayetteville (horrible) and this one (horrible).
