“First I thing, it's best to disregard the 1 star that was placed upon the restaurant. Food was extremely delicious!!! We ordered Sugar MaMa's vegan option, because she has a variety of choices. Having visited many vegan restaurants in various cities, Sugar MaMa's was at the top of our list. When it comes to vegan taste buds, Sugar MaMa's got it on lock. Plus the owner is a really great person. You will thank yourself later after you place an order .“

“This was one of the best Thanksgivings ever thanks to Applewhites Eatery. ALL the food was great! Fried turkey, ribs, salmon, brisket, collards, yams, green beans, brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, carmel cake, sweet potato pie. Every dish was delicious. My only regret is I didn't fix myself or wife a plate for the next day. All the food was gone, immediately! Not a crumb of cake, nothing was left...I would highly recommend this restaurant.“
“I stopped by to get some lunch and it was delicious!! I got a flavorful beef panty, a delicious smoothie and a plate of Jerk chicken. I love the mild jerk and Henny BBQ sauce on the chicken. It was flavorful and not overly spicy, but still had a kick like I like! The macaroni and cheese compliments the cabbage so make sure you add that on! Y’all keep up the great work!“
