I’ve been going to Dirttown ever since I was a little kid. If you ever need a cold drink or some good southern food, I recommend eating here. The employees and owners are great people, and are very good friends of ours. I will definitely be eating here for the rest of my life.
Great Breakfast, and lunch, good breakfast prices, and it is all local southern home style cooking. Great Biscuits and gravy, Sausage and fried egg sandwich on toast with mayo. Bacon, eggs fried baloney, all cooked to order when you order, nothing sitting in a trey just waiting to be placed on a plate.
Well to sum it up....Meh. The building décor on the outside is kind of cool. Inside is completely covered with what I would assume are pictures of Veterans. I understand what your going for but its a little over the top. It you wish to continue to honor veterans put a plaque on one of the walls and add name plates instead of 100's of pictures staring down on you as you eat. Appetizer was mushrooms. Really good, in fact best part of the meal. Others order a cheesesteak, two...
