Thatchers Barbecue and Grill

All of the food we ordered was severely over cooked. The chicken tacos are so tough i can’t even eat them. Same with the hot dog for the kids. Severely overpriced as well. This was my first experience here and I had such high hopes. But unfortunately we won’t do this again.

Everytime, They are always out of brisket. The loaded potato salad is no longer the same recipe. It's just plain potato salad. The collard greens have zero flavor.

First time customer. Service was awesome! Had the Rueben was very tasty. Brother in law had brisket plate. Everything he had looked really good too. Had the blueberry cobbler. Was best I ever had. I'm a serious food and this place ranks up there! Will be back for sure! Keep up the good food and service!

Our server was friendly, prompt, professional and personal.
I had the brisket spud with a side salad. Flavorful! And the salad was spring mix not just iceberg.

One of those places where the food is so good, you can't stop eating it. Hearty amount of food served, employees are super friendly, great sweet tea, no complaints! Please update and confirm your hours though 😊

Parking: Street parking, limited handicapped spots. All kind of on a hill so if you're unloading in a power chair, park across or down the street

The bbq loaded tots are enough to feed two people. The thatcher sauce is the best. A must-stop place when we come thru. Great BBQ and a steal for the price.

2 years ago they did a great job but here lately they are not doing right I think some of the younger workers do not know how to prepare a to go order no bbq sauce and juice was all over everything in the bag the food was still delicious

This was my first visit to Thatchers BBQ in Summerville GA. The restraunt is extremely clean and appealing. I was greeted at the door with a pleasant smile and welcome. The menu is very extensive. There are many options that can please any person. I selected the Pork, Rib, and Brisket combo. I also selected the Stew, Baked Beans, and Loaded Potato Salad as my sides with sweet tea. My wife ordered the Man of Smoke Sandwich and Sugared Sweet Potato Tots. Our food was excellent. The Pork, Ribs, and Brisket were well smoked and seasoned. The sauces were served on the side. The selection includes sweet, mustard, and hot. All three are very good and complement the meats. My wife's sandwich was awesome according to her. All of the sides were large portions and very good. The sugared sweet potato tots were a real surprise. You should try these as a side or as a desert. I highly recommend Thatchers BBQ in Summerville, GA.
