This is just the cutest, warm and welcoming little coffee/ice cream shop. The girls working were kind and helpful. Loved it and although we were just passing through, we will definitely be back when traveling through again.

Cute place,nice atmosphere but the coffee was bad. It tasted watered down like it had only a few drops of coffee. I haven’t been back since. I wanted to give them another try but I’m too afraid it will be the same again.

Precious place. Sweet and friendly staff. We ventured over from Desoto State Park so excited to find a local coffee shop actually open on Sunday! They have a huge selection of ice cream and fun sodas/themed drinks.
As for the coffee— we ordered the Campfire and the Bonnie, both iced. Both were so terribly sweet we couldn’t drink them. My husband loves sweet coffee drinks, and he did say that his campfire would’ve been awesome if it wasn’t so, so sweet. He really liked the flavors. Mine was just altogether so sweet I couldn’t tell if I might have liked it otherwise or not. There were a couple drinks on the menu that made mention of their sweetness, but neither of these did, so I was hoping we would be okay.
That said, I am a coffee connoisseur and it’s really my fault for not going for an old trusty cold brew or espresso. For most, a great spot. If you want your drink to really taste like coffee, stick to the basics! I’d still go back for the service and that ice cream (next time)!

My only complaint is that there are not more of The Great Awakening locations around. I work in Lafayette/Trenton & can never find a coffee I like as much as these best coffee around!

In Acts 2:21 the apostle Peter quotes the prophet Joel saying It will be, that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. He continues to preach to them of Jesus whom they crucified, and how the Father has made him both Lord and Christ. Those who believed this good news cried out "what must we do?" Peter then professes for them to repent and be baptized into the name of Jesus the Christ for the remission of their sins! Having just minutes earlier having quoted the prophet Joel that whosoever should call on the name of the Lord will be saved. One should ask, how then do you "call on the name of the Lord"? By being baptized into this name. Just as Jesus stated in Mark 16:16 that those who believed and are baptized will be saved.
The conversion of Saul of Tarsus (later becoming the apostle Paul) is a beautiful example of God's saving grace. In Acts chapters 9, 22 and 26, we are given this account. Saul has an encounter with the Lord on the way to persecute and put to death those who were disciples of Jesus in Damascus, the Lord reveals himself to Saul and tells him to go into the city that he will be told what he must do. We read that Saul was deeply grieved for his actions against Jesus, he thought that he was doing the will of God only later to realize his error, he did not eat, nor drink and was praying for 3 days in the city. The Lord sent to him a disciple by the name Ananias who says to him in Acts 22:14 He said, 'The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth. 15 For you will be a witness for him to all men of what you have seen and heard. 16 Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'
Notice how that even though Saul had a direct encounter with the Lord Jesus, he was told 3 days later that his sins still needed to be washed away. Saul obviously believed in Jesus as the Christ at this point and showed signs of repentance, he was yet to call on the name of the Lord and be saved.
Do you believe that Jesus is the son of the living God and are willing to die to yourself and repent of your sins? Then you can do what God said and call upon the name of the Lord being baptized into his saving name! Praise God for this Grace that He would send his son to die for us and raised Him from the dead that we may die and be buried and raise with Him in newness of life!
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.
2 Thessalonians 1:7 and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire, 8 rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus: 9 who shall suffer punishment, [even] eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might, 10 when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day. 11 To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and [every] work of faith, with power; 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Such a cute place. Tons of variety, whether you want ice cream, smoothies, sundaes or coffee! A comfy seating area also has a Foosball table. You'll want to stay for a bit or hit the road after the quick and friendly service they provide.
