Returning to this location has been a tradition for me over the past few years, but unfortunately, this recent visit left much to be desired. While the service is usually commendable, it was inconsistent on this occasion. We were attended to by a Korean lady who was clearly overwhelmed, managing three tables simultaneously. While her efforts were commendable, her hurried demeanor led to a rather unfortunate incident where she accidentally collided her cart with me while rushing to serve side dishes, without offering an apology. Additionally, she seemed impatient when taking our orders, hastily handing us a piece of paper and pen and instructing us to write down our choices. Despite doing so promptly, she revisited our table 30 minutes later, requesting the written order again.The food quality, which has consistently been a highlight of my visits, took a disappointing turn when we were served raw chicken. Upon bringing this to attention, the response was apologetic but lacking in concern. Instead of addressing the issue promptly, we were asked if we were ready to order more.It's concerning to witness a lapse in service and attention to detail, especially considering the reputation this establishment has built. While I understand the fast-paced nature of Korean culture, the level of haste exhibited by the staff, particularly in a relatively quiet restaurant with only five patrons, was beyond acceptable. It's evident that there may be some gaps in training or communication at this facility that need addressing. Overall, my recent experience fell far short of the usual standard, leaving me thoroughly disappointed with the level of service received.

I was with my wife and we wanted to try a new place to eat. Normally we drive to Duluth to get Korean BBQ l, but I'm happy we decided to try out Choi's Grill. The meats are excellent and so tasty. The staff is very friendly and we have had the same waiter, Daniel, twice now. Daniel will make you feel very welcome and treated us very well. We will come back soon!

This place used to be so much better. Haven't been here in a year or so. We opted for combo B as usual. Seems like they changed the way they present their beef, now on top of vegetables. Beef seemed a lot drier and not as tasty as I remembered it. Side dishes were mediocre at best. My family thought the same. With the abundance of other Korean bbq places popping up, not sure if we'll be back anytime soon.

Finally got around to trying this and I was pleasantly surprised. We got the combo that was for four people and it was plenty for everyone. All the meat was delicious, tender and cooked perfect. Unlike most Korean BBQ places they cook the meat and it’s brought out to you already done, which is fine by me. The side dishes were ok, they don’t have as much variety of side dishes or sauces as other places I’ve been to. The service was fast and friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

Tried Korean cuisine for the first time and was impressed with the food and the service .. !! Our waitress was helpful and answered all the questions we had .!! The only downside is there are limited chicken options (if you don’t eat red meat) .. Dol-Sot-Bi-Bim-Bab was good ..! Their corn cheese was delicious too..!! All the entrees come with a bunch of sides that include kimchi, salad and pickled radish and the sides were tasty as well..!! Ambiance was ok.. so it’s definitely not a fine dine in but it’s good..!!

I cannot say that this was the best KBBQ restaurant but the staff and I’m assuming the owner, was very kind and courteous.One unique feature of this restaurant is the option to have the meats cooked in the kitchen and served on a hot plate. Some hardcore diners may complain of such option but for me, it’s one smart feature that benefits the diners. Think about it, you’ve been to a typical KBBQ and have to wait for the current choice of meats to be cooked before you wait for the next choice of meats to be cooked. Such a slow process for those wanting to eat AYCE. So, don’t complain about this option. It’s actually better because you can keep ordering meats to be cooked and delivered to your table without delay.And, in case you’re too narrow sighted to notice the grill at the table, you can also have the meats delivered to the table and cooked at your table. That’s why there’s a grill at your table for those that feel deprived of this privilege.I would recommend the AYCE meal and don’t get greedy and order for different meats at once. I made this mistake and some of the meats ended up getting overcooked on the hot plate before I could finish everything. Best suggestion is to order two meats at a time. As you get about half way done, order two more meats.YUM
