Second time here-one year apart. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is very tasty and fresh. Wish we lived closer.

I visited with high expectations, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The kimchi udon was too bland and the noodles were loose, which was disappointing. The pork cutlet was delicious, but a bit oily. It would have been nice if it came with a salad, but it was disappointing that only watery rice and pickled radish were served. I have no intention of visiting again.
The star of the meal was, without a doubt, the tonkatsu. The pork cutlet was perfectly executed—its exterior was golden-brown and satisfyingly crispy, while the meat inside remained tender and juicy. The accompanying tonkatsu sauce struck an ideal balance between tangy and sweet, enhancing the dish without overwhelming the natural flavors of the pork

Good food and worth the price. They have ramen, katsu, and udon and it tasted good. Self service so no need to tip.
We discovered Kisoya thanks to a Korean friend, and even though it's close to home, we had never been there until recently. From our first visit, we loved the experience so much that we've already been back a couple of times.
The restaurant has a beautiful, cozy, and clean atmosphere, with excellent service. As for the food, it's delicious, with generous portions and a great balance between quality and price. The cost is what I would consider standard nowadays, but you definitely get good value in both quantity and quality.
If you decide to try it, I'm sure you won't regret it!.

Me and my friend really enjoyed ourselves !! Very welcoming and a comforting vibe yet modern vibe. Loved the efficiency of the food. As well as the highschool discount you get if you’re a local! Only problem is it’s a tad expensive but nothing I didn’t expect as it lived up to its expenses. Def would go again and again!

This restaurant specializes in pork cutlet and sells king pork cutlet, cheese pork cutlet, and tteokbokki pork cutlet combo. As it is a self-service restaurant, there is no need to pay a separate fee.
This restaurant has a modern atmosphere and is popular with young people. What's disappointing is that the menu focuses on carbohydrates and lacks vegetables.

Great portion sizes, you will not leave this restaurant hungry. The quality of the food is excellent as well. I've had food from similar restaurants in Japan and Kisoya delivers a very similar experience. The value for money is excellent. We took katsu leftovers and made sandwiches the next day for lunch.
What I also liked was counter service - there's really no need for a waiter or waitress for this style food. In a world of crazy tipping culture, it was refreshing to not be pressured for a tip at pay time - just pay a fair price for the food and take the order.
This restaurant will end up in our rotation of regular restaurants to visit.
