“We recently took our friends to spend an afternoon at Engelheim Vineyards. Everything was wonderful - nice wines, yummy British pies, charcuterie, beautiful scenery, and relaxing live music. The place is family owned and the owners are attentive and engaging. We went to see the wedding venue there and it is lovely! We highly recommend this vineyard in Ellijay!“

Cartecay Vineyards Wineries • $$
5704 Clear Creek Rd, Ellijay - 9.64 miles

“We were the only customers the day we arrived at Cartecay Vineyards. We got a chance to talk to the lady working behind the bar. We shared a very nice glass of red wine, enjoyed the ambience of this place which had been built with reclaimed barn lumber that once graced this property. At the entrance to this place stands a fireplace, the only reminder that a family once lived here and worked the land.

The wine was delightful. I strongly recommend you try their red wines. We sure to look around the vineyard before leaving. The grounds are beautiful.

There are plenty of items in the gift shop to choose from.

Plenty of parking.“

Fainting Goat Vineyards Wineries •
201 Vineyard Wy, Jasper - 6.43 miles

“Let's call it a 4.5. Beautiful mountainside location overlooking North Georgia mountains. Perhaps one of the prettiest views. Relaxed vibe. Lots of outside seating with folks bringing picnic lunches to snack on while enjoying the wine and the view. Very nice staff, and yes there are goats! They didn't have glasses of wine from their locally-sourced grapes which was a disappointment. I would have liked to have tasted something grown in their vineyard without having to purchase a bottle. Overall a very enjoyable experience.“
