“We've lived in Tallapoosa for just over a year now and we never gave this place a chance until today. Our waitress was Sierra (or maybe Ciara? Apologies to the young lady if I've butchered it) and she was fantastic. Great attitude and good banter/humor.
The food was some of the best southern homestyle cooking that matched the quality you can typically only find at your grandmother's house or a family reunion. If you know, you know. I can typically nit-pick my way through any meal I have when I eat out, but I literally have 0 complaints.
It was crowded, it was shift change, they looked short staffed, and they still weren't falling behind on great service. The food quality didn’t suffer and we didn't wait that long for our food. The only wait I experienced was when I went to pay and that isn't even an issue because their focus was getting the food out and the tables cleaned which I'm absolutely fine with because their priorities are balanced. Also, it was awesome to walk in and see a huge 100 posted for their health score. Big win on this place. We will return, and it will be often.
Ordered Country Fried Steak with brown gravy, collars, pinto beans, cornbread, and sweet potato casserole with a small cup of banana pudding for dessert. Excellent all around. 10/10 would dine again.“
