My friend and I were driving through Thomaston and wanted to grab some food, so we stopped downtown and asked a local boutique worker where to eat in town and the immediately said to try English's. We tried the scrambled burger and just a normal hot dog for our meal and then for dessert we did a strawberry freezer pie and their chocolate truffle. I am pretty sure that's what they were called! All the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Planning on coming back foe sure!

Wow, what a relatively simple, but amazingly delicious lunch! And, Alicia (sp?), one of the owners behind the counter was delightful. We were on an overnight trip for a wedding in the area, and it was recommended we stop there for lunch, and we're so glad we did! The chicken salad and the pasta salad were both delicious, and the chocolate éclair was wonderful to the third power (thank you, Alicia, for having such a heavy hand); however, we saw so many scrambled burgers being prepared, that we have sworn to make the trip back just to try them. This place is phenomenal, and so full of character and charm! It's worth making a special trip to Thomaston!
