Thank you for a great!!! lunch. It was absolutely delicious and was the best hamburger, fries and slaw that I've had in years. The atmosphere was perfect and I truly enjoyed the music. You really made me feel welcome in your town of Thomaston. Thank you and may God Bless you!!!
Can't go wrong eating here. I've been eating here since 1976 and get the same thing time after time, scrambled cheese burger with sauce only. If you add any other condiments it'll change the flavor and won't be as good in my opinion. The man that owned The Pool Room passed away many years ago, his nickname was "wormy", don't know where the nickname originated but we always said we ate at wormys when asked and his picture is still on the wall. Often immitated, but never duplicated!! There's no substitute for the real thing! This place is known all over the United States for it's scrambled burgers and dogs, but you'll only find it here in Thomaston, GA. They have a full menu, but if you come here, at least one "pool room" burger or dog topped with the secret sauce is a must!!! Thanks, Joey!! 5 stars across the board.
