“Keep in mind that this is the only Chinese food buffet for a large area, The only other one is a fair distance away, so they don't have much competition in that regard. The restaurant looks old and worn. There's nothing overt about it. But you can notice the faded paint, the old stains, scuff marks and scratches that highlight the are of the place. That being said. The restaurant looked fairly clean. There were some areas on the buffet table where you could tell food had been recently removed and the surfaces had not been wiped down. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was okay. Not bad overall and there was a fair mix to choose from. However, there was nothing available that stood out. All of it was the standard fare you can find at any other Chinese buffet restaurant.“
“Haven't been to a Golden Carral in years, and was pleasantly pleased with the facility, ambiance, cleanliness, selection, and quality of food.Lunch at $9.99 per adult was certainly a good value, especially when you eat enough for 2 meals!Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegetable dishes, but southern style cooking uses bacon, bacon grease, and ham as seasoning in many, so they might not appeal to a vegetarian.“
