This place is top notch for me. They steam the buns so when you eat the chili dogs it all just blends together. It is the best chili dog I have ever eaten and it's not even close. I went to the Varsity in Atlanta using Shady Lane as a reference. I was so disappointed in the Varsity. I love the old-time nostalgic feeling of these types of drive-ins. You feel like you’re going back in time to the 50’s-70’s. As for the prices, they are reasonable. They have a drive thru which is nice.

For a old school drive in. It is exactly what you would expect. Good chili dogs and hamburgers. Unfortunately their ice cream was down so we didn't get a milkshake but the apple pie we had instead was delicious
